Inevitably this will result in a self-destruction. You want massive, massive DPS....or a Thanny pilot who really wants to brag about his lossmail.

You can't build supers in wormholes because you need sovereignity of the system your building in.

You dont have that in W space so no..

Thanatos are support ships - they're not solo pwn mobiles. Without support your dead, even with triage your dead because they will bubble you which cuts off a fuel supply.

You wont be able to break their sub-caps anyway so just force the carrier to run his local reppers to use up its cap

It's more trouble for a carrier-pilot to be forced to rep its support than to tank himself. Especially if the primary switches around a lot or if dmg is spread on several of the support.

dps on the support, neuts on the carrier.

A few thoughts...

1) This has nothing to do with Factional Warfare, so i'm not really sure if this is the right subforum.

2) Use more than 2 Guardians if you can. Only 2 Guardians isn't a very resilient cap chain and is easy to disrupt.

3) These guys seem pretty prepared and the fact that you had to come here and ask means you'll probably get roflstomped regardless of what you bring. I don't mean that as an insult, just something to consider if you don't have any experienced FCs.

4) It really depends on the battleships they bring and how well they're fit. Regular battleships will get roflstomped by close range T3s if you can break their reps. If they have Vindicators and Bhaalgorns, you might have some issues.

5) Depending on his triage fit and character skills, two Legions might not be enough to cap out the Thanny. If he's badly fit, you should be fine, but if he isn't you will run into problems.

As they said.. Logi, and tier three BCs are prob your best bet. A few nados with 800's can stay out at a good safe range and lay down nice dps and a curse will be able to nuet as well at same range. So say 3 logi for extra cap ability for the curses, 2 curses fit will all medium nuets, and the rest med range tier 3 battlecruisers. A falcon is never a bad idea either but this will allow you to maintain a safe range while nuking support and holding a point on the carrier. Tbh it will prob result in alot of subcap kills b4 the carrier sefl destructs but should be fun. WOuld make sure your fcs are well versed it kiting tactics. PS.. If he triages your ******..

The biggest danger to Triage carriers - aside from dreads/supers - is neuting. Capacitor is what makes or breaks a Triage carrier. In all likelihood the carrier you're looking at is Triage, since there's no reason not to use it inside a C1 wormhole.

Overall you can expect a standard triage thanatos to have about 770 GJ/s at peak recharge on cap. Each local rep will take about 210 GJ/s on averave, while each remote uses about 240GJ/s. A 7 neut legion neuts about 150 GJ/s. So you would need 2 at the very least, better 3 or 4. Since they need to be cap fed as well, you need guardians with cap transfers. Reps would be fun too, since I assume they shoot you back. And since with 2 guardians the first jam will probably mean dying ships, you want a third as backup.

So conservatively speaking you would need 3 neuting Legions, 3 guardians at the very least. That leaves 1-2 people to actually deal DPS. assuming you only have 7-8 people.

And all of that is assuming they don't bring a second carrier or 2-3 logis to rep and cap the other Thanatos back up when he is out of triage.

I'd say leave them be. If you really need to kick them out, hire mercenaries who have the numbers and patience to do it for you.

Edit:

Actually... keeping him in triage until he runs out of Strontium could be faster! :D
