As I'm watching the ongoing grind in nullsec and the impact of numbers on the Sov game (not the individual battles) I wonder if people think CCP will revisit the Titan issue. It seems that as soon as the Titan tracking nerf went through the counter argument for keeping them able to act as a guard against blobs became valid. Has the numbers game reached a tipping point, especially with more and more veteran players jumping onto the winning side? Do people think the Titan should be buffed?

TITANS DO NOT STOP "BLOBBING".

THEY NEVER DID.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE THIS ANY CLEARER, I AM SORRY. LET ME KNOW IF THERE WAS SOME PART YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND OR SEEMS AMBIGUOUS TO YOU AND I WILL TRY AND CLARIFY.

30 titans could blap 100 battleships before the nerf. That's a blob counter.

Actually we're seeing better fights between nullsec entities than the previous two years combined.

Yeah, first you blobbed Raiden. Then you blobbed nulli (because TEST only outnumbered them 10:1). Then you blobbed AAA. Then you blobbed NCDot. Only issue now... who do you blob next? Turning on your smaller pets would send a bad message, so I suggest you go straight for the HBC. Kill them while they're small and are no threat to you.

This just highlights the need for a blob counter for the little guy. Ideally smartbombing tracking AEO titans with mechanics that prevent them being blobbed in groups larger than 3-4. I'm sure we'd all like to see a few daily titan killmails.

Unlike our useless foes in the past year the NC are providing a good fight.

yeah hi we conquered Branch and Tenal before the titan tracking nerf and, believe it or not, we did the heavy lifting with supercapitals

and even if they weren't nerfed we'd be the ones using them in Delve, not SoCo, same with Tribute

More like blap everything from destroyers to capitals. You think its hard now? Try getting a foothold in sov when everything you own is useless vs titans.

This is why they were nerfed.

No the blob has titans too

Notice they stopped screaming for nerfs? Yah they have a huge ass super fleet now.

I personally believe that the ability to set sentry drones to assist fleet members is broken. I'm also having fun with that v0v

Titans were broken as hell before, they definitely do not need a buff.

I'd also like to point out that numbers win wars in real life too. Advanced weapons only magnify what an army can do, they don't win battles for you. You will never see 500 defeat 5000 if both sides are committed.

Oh, and FYI, the Spartans lost at Thermopylae.

Risk free PvP wins wars now...not numbers....
Without PL holding your hand, your 1000 screaming noobs would probably be back in highsec....Cool

If you want to get technical, if TCF never gave Goons Deklein after they derped Delve and lost Cloud Ring then Test would still probably be in highsec. Though "what ifs" don't really mean much.

So true they actually did the opposite. AOE DD actually created larger blobs, mostly of DD tanked RR armor BSs. Ah those where the days....... /sarcasm

I'm pretty sure all the people crying for nerfs are blob alliance alts. My blob alliance alt scanner just want off the charts when it saw "Fatal Ascension".

To expand on this idea, if that BOB director hadn't been flipped by Goons 1.0, nullsec would be an extremely different place right now.

We should attribute everything we've ever done to that single director Cool
