People & Places starting to freeze the client

So lately I've been getting this bug that's driving me crazy. As I add more and more bookmarks my People & Places window is freezing up the client. I have a 1 year old MacBook Pro, and when I open the People & Places the client will freeze for about 4-6 seconds. If I have it open when I try to undock or jump system the grid will freeze for about 10 seconds before loading. This is also getting worse as I add more bookmarks. It's as if the client is hanging trouble loading a large amount of bookmarks, even though I don't feel I really have that many (a few safes for every system I go into) .

I filled a bug report (and expect nothing to come of that) but I wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue?

How many do you have? I can try and reproduce it....

I rarely have P & P open so I do not see this.

I've got around 1600. I open P&P when I'm leaving stations when camped so I have my mouse already on my undock BM.

I also just noticed that if I have the folder closed it doesn't lag as much. Or if my contacts window is up instead. Basicly it happens if the folder is expanded and on that tab when I open it.

Also adding or editing a BM is freezing the client too.
