Plex for 370 mil scam

Ok so i havent been on eve for nearly a year and now i finally returned and noticed that the plexes were selling for 500 mill (200 more than i thought) and while looking in the chat i saw a guy selling 1 plex for 370 mill. I quickly said to myself thats a scam and i went to check what kind of scam it was.
Thing is at first glance the contract seems in order as seen in the pic bellow

However if you look carefully, it sais :

You will pay : 370.000.000 ISK (370 mill)
And so far its ok

You will get : 30 Day Pilot's License Extension (PLEX) x 1
And so far its ok

Now the scam part :

You will pay : 30 Day Pilot's License Extension (PLEX) x 1 (in the list)

Now, to me this seems to be either a bug or a security hole in the contract system as it doesnt check that you are trading the same item ...
To me its not right and i believe this wasn't intended ... in other words you are paying money for an item which u receive and then you give it back ... how is this normal ?

Anyway, my point is, check twice, 3 times, 4 times or more any contracts you are about to conclude, trust no one !

Ah, the item for item scam. Made popular by Bugs Bunny if i'm not mistaken.

I have a lover, her name is EVE. I see her every night and all she asks in return is that I have a pilot's license.

This will only work if you already had a PLEX in your hangar, right? At which point it's working as intended imho.

nope

the contract system will just take back the PLEX you bought, leaving you PLEXless and 370 mill down.

All these scams are working as intended. It's how the developers wanted eve online to be, full of pirates, hunters and scammers.

Curious though.. how come Scammer isn't under the sandbox career window? It should stand right under Trader.

Scammers should have to train skills... maybe they could have a skill to create fake contracts or something.

You got greedy and fell for an obvious scam. What's the point of the post? I don't get it. It's obviously not a "so others can learn" because most people know how to read.

Didnt a dev say at some point that this will be fixed.
Or more specifically they will be removing items that can not be repackaged, along with preventing you from asking for the same item you are selling?
Or is that just whining for being scammed?

Yet something else getting stopped not because its a bad mechanic or a faulty piece but because people are stupid and lazy.
Go CCP. (obviously if you are not changing this GO CCP in a postive way Lol )

The thing is I love EVE I love the fact you can scam (although I have never done it) and cheat and lie and steal it what makes the game great, you start taking that away and whats left..

First of all I didnt fell for this scam, i knew it was a scam the moment i saw. I checked the contract to see what kind of scam. Obviously you havent read what i said in the post

Secondly the reason for this post is to warn others about this cam. I dont care how old the scam is, I only saw it now. Pointless post ? I dont think so.

If you see someone spamming in Jita selling something that is substantially less than the market, it's a scam - 100% of the time. I mean why would they spend time spamming and contract it to you for 200M isk less than they could sell it instantly for on the market?

Some capsuleers get pleasure giving back to the comunity rather than taking from it with offerings and packages at competitive prices. You just have to have your nostrils acclimatized to sniffing out the good deals.
