If you had lived just a few hundred years ago, you probably wouldn't have even made it to 55, most didn't.

With our current way of life and constantly improving medical technology, you've probably got another 50 years to go at least

Maybe I'm overly optimistic about our improving medical technology, but I personally like to believe that most of us around today are going to break all records regarding longevity and quality of life.

We'll see.

Contrary to popular belief there is nothing at all creepy, sinister or just downright ewwwwww about parents who "hang" (I believe the vernacular is) with their children or friend them on facelessinterwebtwatbook.

What could be more natural than someone still in school associating on a peer to peer basis with someone who is not only old enough to be their parent, but actually is?

When I was a young lad of 17 or 18 the mother of one of my mates regularly used to turn up in the local pub we frequented, always completely co-incidentally by the way of course. What could be more natural than that she join us?
It wasn't embarrassing at all and in no way led to hours of stilted conversation and early exits by those smart enough to invent decent excuses to be elsewhere before the trollop downed enough Malibu to start tweaking the hemline on the laughably short skirts she favoured and flashing her Marks and Spencers trollies and substantial lady-garden (think Billy Gibbons in a SARS mask here) to anyone unfortunate enough to be looking in the wrong direction.

Not at all odd. I fail to see the problem.

And therein lies the problem. I'm not sick as such but I do have a condition that will shorten my life span. Nothing can be done...

When I was 18 my buddy's mother would accompany us to Rock concerts. She was nice enough to bring her own dope to smoke lol CoolCoolCool

Almost 35 over here, slightly under a month left.

Married (nearly 1 year ago, with the GF I've had since 10 years earlier, so nearly 11 years together), no kids yet (we haven't been trying though, "not with the market the way it is", rofl). Only moved in together 2 weeks ago - yes, we had a nearly 1 year long medium-distance marriage (~150km drive), and it was intermittently a medium-to-long-to-very-long-distance (150-1200-11000km) relationship most of the time before too (heh).

I started playing 6 years ago when I was 16 too. I nearly screwed up school because I became a bit of an EVE addict.

I'm 21. 22 Next month.

I first heard of this game while I was playing Freelancer online. I must have been 12 years old. I Started playing this game about a year later. I was 13 or 14 years old. Due to how poor I am, I have had long vacations in this game. A significant part of my game time was payed with PLEX which I bought with a dread guristas fancy mod or something Lol.

I still suck at this game. I'm still poor and a total n00b. But I just keep coming back. To think I went through my whole teenagehood with this game.Pirate

34. Heard about EVE for the first time in PC Gamer in 2000-2001 about this weird, mysterious sci-fi game coming from Iceland, of all places.

I am 39, and to my experience the game is mainly played by 30+. Exceptionel to me was the 13 y old fc....made a good job. Due to the kids at my place I know they dont like eve as a game because it is not a easy fastpaced game...and it isnt manga. And they only play games together, so more as a social network than an actual game. They constantly switch the games as soon as they dont get fast progress...actually when the free to play part starts to suck or ends, the game is over :).
