I'm looking for those alarm sounds in an audio file format (as long as it can be read by a phone). does anyone know if this exists? I tried looking in the game files but couldn't find anything.

yeah, I really should have tried somewhere other than GD to try and ask for this, but this is the best bet for what I could think of.

That's actually a pretty cool idea, I have an alarm clock that can play mp3 files as the alarm and I would love a file of the armor warning.

oh, and although the alarm thing would be clever, I actually intend to use this as a ringtone for some specific people.

AFAIK the sound files (stored in res/audio) are in the .ogg format but after a quick google they're actually .ogg files encapsulated in .riff files

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Very effective. Either you get out of bed faster than explosive diarrhea or -- for those who sleep heavily-- you have the worst possible nightmare in less than 1 second.

I am more distracted by my keyboard and computer flashing when the shields get low.

What is the sound? Is it more of an "Eh Eh Eh" or an "Oooha Oooha"?

If my alarm played a shield warning I'd probably just hit the snooze button thinking it was the armor rep.

depending on the accuracy of your GPS, I could imagine there are a lot of things you could do with a GPS based app.
