Many people already know, but a goon diplomat Sean "Vile Rat" Smith, was KIA in Benghazi. (http://themittani.com/news/rip-vile-rat)

What if this weekend, in memorial of a great EvE Player (One which I never had the honor of meeting, sadly), instead of the old idea of shooting at stuff, remote rep the monuments/each other/random people in the four major trade hubs? Anyone can join in easily with a cheap T1 or even a civilian module, and in my opinion it'd be a slightly more respectful way of honoring him.
My main question is if anyone would be up for this idea; I myself would be starting either early in the morning (1-2 AM eve time) before going to sleep, or as soon as I wake up, and personally, I think it'd be a great way to also let others know of the loss of EvE that don't already; I wouldn't have known myself and nor would my corp members if I hadn't seen a post on tumblr.

The main idea would be to gather at jita 4-4, and just lock and logi anyone you see, hell, even targeted gank victims if you'd be in time or if they survived; even in the cold EvE, just like in real life, it's warming to know people would take time out of their day to remember and honor a great person. (Wether he was of a controversial group or not... I myself have never had any quarrels with any goons, but the few experiences of talking with them, for me personally, were pleasant.)

TLDR: Would others be joining me in remembering/showing condoleances about the loss of Vile Rat by using logistics mods on the monuments in major trading hubs?

Great idea. I think RR would be a better way to remember his life than shooting things. I would have to use my alt as my main is negative 5.6 :(

Edit: I also think that people should put the fact aside that he was... ( in my mind still is) a Goon.
By that I mean, don't hate or be negative about it because he of the 'Goon' he is.
We are all humans anyways.

It upsets m deeply when I hear things like this.

As far as I know, that's PvP fleets from all sorts of people who go pew pew in some of the most expensive ships they can get :P
