Blakes 7 (obviously)
Babylon 5
Star Trek

And honourable mentions go out to Doctor Who (in his fourth and fifth incarnations), The X-Files and Dark Skies, which deserved a longer run than it got.

Queen Victoria died in 1901.

The RMS Titanic was ordered in 1908 and completed in 1912.

Therefore, the Titanic is not Victorian.

1912 is when the Victorian era style ended.

It's strange actually.

Some people believe that the Victorian Era ended in 1912 not 1901 with the death of Queen Victoria.

However the Edwardian era runs from 1901 - 1910 and the death of King Edward VII (or to some people 1919 and the signing of the Treaty of Versailles) so if you believe that the Victorian era ended in 1912 then you also have to believe that the Edwardian Era never happened.

There is a lot of different ways of looking at it to be honest. I will always say that the Victorian Era ended in 1901

I said Victorian Era Style. The Victorian Era ended in 1901. I don't know of anyone that claims that the Victorian Era ended in 1912. The style of the Victorian era is more critical to steampunk than the reign of Queen Victoria was. 1. the invention of the western computer. 2. Victorian era style; clothing, architecture etc. 3. etc etc. I think that if you want to debate that than you should start another thread.

Anyway, It seems that Firefly has made a strong showing here. Not always #1 but often listed in the top three. Wait, is that a hint of Victorian Era Style I see in that show too? lol.

1. Babylon 5 (not so much second half of last season though, but considering the circumstances, excusable)
2. Firefly (way too short for #1, even if generally quite awesome)
3. Star Trek - Deep Space Nine (yes, the "boring" one, I liked that one the most, sue me - most of the rest of STs should also come in here)

Honourable mentions to Stargate SG-1, which was almost tied with ST-DS9, and Farscape (a bit too campy/cheesy/cheap most of the time, but still a very enjoyable watch).

Oh yeah Futurama would be on number 1 if I were counting cartoons in!

1, Stargate SG1 because it worked so well, that should never have cancelled/ended it.
2, Star Trek DS9, the only Star Trek that had a proper storyline you could go along with, without being thrown some curve ball like the Krenim in ST Voyager.
3, Red Dwarf for sheer humour and pranks on Arnold Judas Goal post head Rimmer.

Please note new Red Dwarf series starts on the DAVE channel on the 4th Oct 2012.

All thanks to J. Michael Straczynski and his "contribution" ;)
But at least B5 was still produced, and probably a better show than if Paramount had picked them up rather than just taking their series bible.

If you liked DS9 yet haven't watched B5 through, I'd highly recommend it, it's brilliant imo. I guess that's what happens when you go with one writer mostly.

1. Babylon 5. Story Arc, massive fights, cgi that in some ways still stands up (and yes in others is awful!) and the thing that really gets me, the tech is believable.

2. Space Above & Beyond. Damn you Fox. Damn you all to hell. Was a brilliant show, had real promise.

3. Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Another story arc jobbie, and with some really good characterisation. The only "Trek" where I really got into what happened to the characters.
