It was never meant to be a knock at anyone. Going with your analogy...if I did not have the ability to fit a MWD to my ship and knew that Frigfest was going to have a bunch of MWD-fit kiting frigates, I probably wouldn't attend...not because fitting a MWD is immoral, but because I would be putting myself at a needless disadvantage that I couldn't realistically counter. On the other hand, I may figure that it would be fun anyway and come despite my handicap.

I don't know why everyone's going on as if I'm condemning the event. I'm not. My statement was, "This is a cool idea, but I may or may not decide to attend. I'll help you spread the word, though". It would be no different if I instead said, "This is a cool idea, but I prefer flying cruisers".

And, while I tried to resist responding to this, I feel like I have to address this:

As far as I am aware, none of my corp members have shot first at a friendly (blue or not) with bad intentions. They may be scrubs, though.

I may attend, and I promise to whine a lot and accuse everyone who kills me of using offgrid boosts. I may even post a whine thread to GD.
