I know there are already a couple threads about VR, but I felt this was a bit too important to get lost in the countless pages of well wishing for him and his family. Today, just now, he was brought home. I just watched this live a few minutes ago and felt I needed to share it with the rest of the EVE community.

We have lost a veteran, a father, a husband and a fellow capsuleer and it saddens me greatly. I have seen many of America's heroes returned to our country after serving at the mortuary they all return to, and it's never easy regardless if you knew the person or not.

The fact I can relate to all four aspects listed above makes me feel it even deeper.

To his wife and 2 children, I will continue to do my job to the best of my ability and do my part to ensure this happens to less people. The Airman I train will learn of this and the sacrifices that were made and hopefully it is remembered and taken to heart.

No words can fix this. But he is home now.

I wish peace and goodwill to his family, friends, co-workers and also to his corporation/alliance friends as well. I know I do not know many, if any, of you but I truly feel bad for the loss you all must be feeling even greater than I.
