I use email since 1995 and I can't imaging that I've printed more mails than I use it in years.
How come that you print your mails? Even quite often when it is already annoying you to copy/paste them?
I mean it seriously: why would you want to print mails ... and even from a game?

I can easily imagine an alliance sending out a welcome mail with a list of important people, jump bridges, policies, etc. and someone wanting to keep that handy for quick reference. Copy & paste into notepad loses all formating, so if the mail makes use of it I can understand the OP's concern.

As pointed out above me, there are lists of things to do, fits sent by corp, jump routes, TS settings, etc that I'd like a hardcopy handy.

Again, not a huge deal, just a bit annoying to have to keep opening the email and, if it's a long list...making sure I have everything in it ready--be able to check/cross things off list.

Up until getting a smartphone a couple years ago, I printed email fairly frequently for similar real-world reasons. If I travel to a site, I can't be guaranteed I'll have email access...so if there is detailed information I need, I have to have a hardcopy. Now that I can access email pretty much anywhere, I print much less but still do periodically.

The idea of an out-of-game email app would be nice. Or...heaven forbid CCP make eve-gate mobile friendly.
