Hello fellow pilots of EVE!

My character's name is Jonathan Jeremy but the majority of people call me J2. Recently, I've begun recording a Let's Play series based around EVE Online. While this is not exactly a blind Let's Play, I've only played the game in the past for about a month last year. Over the past few days, I've downloaded the game and have just recently created this character for the purposes of recording an LP of EVE.

Why? Because I think EVE deserves all the attention it gets and much more. I believe that many feel that the game is "too hard" based on hearsay and don't even give it a chance. So, from the ground up, I'm planning on recording my adventures in and around the universe of EVE.

Now, I'm not the best at the game. Hell, I'm absolute crap as far as I'm concerned. But that's where viewer interaction comes in. Players like Vixorz, Raven Redfyre and more have been watching some videos, giving me some tips and history behind the game and slowly, very slowly, I'm starting to get more and more comfortable with this. I thank them all for their assistance thus far.

But I'm going to need more help. And that's why I'm creating this thread. If anybody wants to chime in and give advice, tips, or the like but don't have a Youtube account, please do so here or through EVE Mail. I would love to get better at this game so that I could produce better content. :)

This man has conquered western Europe in Crusader Kings 2. So i think he will be able to conquer EvE too :)

just saw some of the videos.

Pretty cool. It looks like it could bring some new players into the game.

Let me know if you want to feature some of the more exciting stuff in EvE than the starter missions. Big smile

I would avoid focusing on missions, it's really boring to watch and there is plenty of eve lps doing missions/mining. I also think the amount of isk you got donated ruined a big part of the lp, I would rather watch someone starting out with nothing and work themselves up rather than you getting 300m+ isk donated. If I were you, I would put all the isk on another character and not use any of it for the lp.

In terms of skill training, you are getting skills that wont be effective for a long time (6+ months). Work on the core skills first, you have to get them sooner or later and they pay off right away by giving you access to new modules and ships.

Thanks for the praise! I've gotten a lot of offers for the same. [Most of which I'm sure are people looking for an opportunity to blow me out of the sky. :D ]

I understand where you're coming from. I've definitely been pondering on how/if to use this amount of ISK already received thus far, plus many more items gifted via contracts. Thanks for watching though! :)
