I know Vile Rat's name from some well written posts I had read during the last two CSM elections. It's very sad to hear and read more about the real human behind the avatar who wrote those posts and who shared the same passion for the game with me by such a terrible event. Virtual spaceships are the better religion. My best wishes are for his wife and children.

while I didnt know him well at all, i'd heard alot about him, i was lucky enough to meet him at fanfest this year, and can remember it really clearly we had a good giggle over some stuff peopel had said . he' was incredibly witty and very friendly.

my thoughts go out to his family and friends, if i could be half the diplomat he was i'd be very happy , some one to really look up to.

It's a mad world when people have to die over some internet movie. While I didn't know him personally, I had certainly heard a lot of good things about him.
