Questions regarding suicide ganking

Can anyone give me a suicide thrasher set up please.

And is it worth going tech II on everything or should I keep It as named mods only.

Question

1. Is there a noticeable drop in alpha damage if I use named mods
2. What ammo should I use if I use
(i) named guns
(ii) Tech II guns



I intend to use two Arti thrashers and take out industrial ships on a gate.

Questions.

1. Will I only get one shot of before the gate guns destroy both ships

2. Will two single volleys be enough to destroy an untanked industrial ship or will I need to upgrade to a cruiser/battle cruiser.




My set up will be two arti thrashers and a scanner/clean up ship.

Question

1. What would be the best industrial to clean up with that I can fit a passive scanner, cargo and ship scanner and still have good locking time. Or should I use something completely different.

Unless you're popping badgers, you're going to need more than 2 thrashers.

If you're serious about knocking out haulers, get yourself a nado and be selective about your targets whilst having some assurance that you're going to make someone cry. Use your alt to grab / scan.

Nothing worse than watching yourself devolve into an egg whilst that juicy badger aligns away from you with 5% structure left.

I can give you the fittings i'm using, ignoring the skills you have.
What i had when i thought this out was ...

Shield Upgrades V
Projectile Rigging IV
Weapons Upgrades V
Advanced Weapon Upgrades IV
Thermodynamics I

So ... i'll start with the fitting i found first.
This is for killing shuttles/noobships/lightly tanked frigs at gate/station AND their pods
in 0.5 or 0.6 security space ... meaning space with FOUR sentry turrets !

It's a two-volley-fitting for popping shuttles and pods.
Everything needs to be overheated and you have to lock them up in space,
because the overview is a tad slower and you need the time.

Use named mods as you like ... it depends on your skills if this works or not.




The next fitting is much more expensive, but gives you three volleys.
I've killed a few haulers in this already and frigates will suffer.
Again, everything heated.

If you have somebody to give you a warp-in, it's all you need.
I used this to pop quite a few haulers ... it works, but your range is very limited.

This one gives you around 13k EHP with heated invuls ...
... quite much for a cheap thrasher with t1 or meta mods. ^_^

Copy them to EFT and check what you need to skill for them to work.
Please note that these fittings are meant to be cheap, because i wanted to keep it cheap.
They weren't actually meant to pop haulers, but can be used as such.

edit: unlike other people i wouldn't advise you to go for t2 turrets,
simply because: the cheaper your fitting, the more targets will give you profit.
