Pretty big to have this as a major, front page article, and in a very well known paper, especially a paper from a country that Vile Rat wasn't even from.

I did not know him, but I would feel stupid taking the time to comment on the trivialities of the game today without giving my condolences here first.

Never got to know you in the game; but you shared my passion for Eve Online.

You helped lead the alliance we all love to hate.

You will be missed as a Gamer and as a Man.

Your death has brought the reality of the struggle and pain that exists in the world today; a struggle which feels all too alien for the vast majority of westerners, into something we can all feel and relate too. Made it kind of tangible. (not sure how to explain what i mean; i hope you understand)

Vile Rat First Diplo I chattted with 6 years ago and gave us 0.0 access. he was a contact i enjoyed chatting with during the 1st BOB war. I feel sad for his family and for the goon community.

R.I.P Vile, It bothers to lose any Eve brother. It's get me furious to learn how and why he died, a man with a family and kids who had nothing to do with that damn film. A STUPID ******* FILM. We all have seen films disrespecting many ideals in all religions, but that does not jusitfy murder, vandalism, and chaos. I hope one day we as "Humans" can grow the **** up.

Your name will truly be remembered by all in and out of game. We "Eve Gamers" will make sure your name is not forgotten ANYWHERE.
