Couldn't find the answer in searching so I thought I'd ask (sorry if it's been covered before) ;

regarding flying t3 cruisers on sisi- is there a way to disable skill point losses so I can participate in combat testing without having to wait to re-train losses?

And if not, anyone think it might be a good idea to disable that particular feature on the test server?

Then how are we suppose to test if it works or not?

Once its been tested to work correctly, have the option to disable it on the testing server? You think i'm asking too much here? Like it wouldn't be useful?

I just don't fancy the idea of re-training skills on sisi so I can test my t3 to destruction.

What if something changes that stops the T3 cruiser skill penalty from working after it has been tested and confirmed to work?

The main purpose of the test server is to test new updates for bugs, the fact that you can use it for your personal benefits is the icing on the cake.

Besides, what stops you from testing the T3 cruisers with the subsystem skills at level 4 or lower?

The fact that it isn't an accurate representation of my main.

1. Attend Mass Test
2. Get 2m unallocated SP
3. Lose level 5 subsystem
4. Apply SP
5. Repeat as needed

Attending Mass Tests and getting unallocated SP on SiSi also allows for testing stuff that you might ponder to train later on.

Something that I've found very handy at times.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

We will likely never change basic functionality for test servers as the chances for fallout, missing defects, and just straight up developer time consumption are too high.
