Spent 4-5 years fighting Goonswarm solid from the days of LV, right up to the end of Delve 2.

Can think of many times 'attempting' to verbally 'tackle' him in local but he was always to quick witted and 'dry' and ended up coming out on top. Later on, with politics ever changing, and VR's position on CSM i was impressed further by his articulate and funny nature.

What strikes me is that he was doing much of this diplomacy in Eve, whilst conducting true diplomacy, in many dangerous and difficult locations. Much of the eve political landscape over the past 5 years has been shaped to a great extent by his efforts, all the while serving his country.

My condolences are to his family, and RIP to Sean.

It is men Like VR that make EvE such a great game. Even though I personally don’t have the wit for politics either in RL or EvE, I know it’s what makes the world go around. Even in Internet Spaceships. I would like to thank Him for his contribution not only to EvE but to America as well. My Thoughts and Prayers go out to His Family and friends in RL and His family and friends in EvE. In the almost 7 years I have spent in EvE I have grown many good and close relationships, so I know without a doubt he will be sorely missed by many in EvE.

To Mrs. VR I would like to thank you for His and your contribution to world peace and making Our Country a safer and better place to live. I’m sorry you had to pay the ultimate price for our freedom but I thank you for doing so.

He'll never leave the community. Every shell fired in nul, every ship popped, every bubble planted, every station captured or placed, and every cap or super cap built or destroyed will have a little bit of VR in it.
