No, it doesn't prove anything besides that you are a frustrated attention whore who rage quits because EVE is ~hard~

Looks like even that is too hard for you.

Sorry, better luck in some other game!

I think the point here is that Eve Online is an MMO. Not saying that Solo play doesn't have some purpose in the game, but in as a whole I don't see what CCP could or should do to cater to people who play an Online game by design from the ground up to be a team oriented game. I mean we have corporations, alliances, fleet mechanics.... each ship has a specific purpose designed to be part of a whole... how many hints do you need before you understand that Solo anything is always going to be a second class citizen in this game.

Its a team game... find a team.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

i fail to see where you get pressing f1 is too hard for me

i mean i understand what your thinking and why you said it, but logically it makes no sense to me, your obviously just a little dumbed down in the brain.

maybe you fail to understand because i was lazy and didnt explain it in the dumbed down version...

I say **** it and fit ridiculous ship... i roam through many systems for about an hour, not finding a single solo person anywhere or even a fleet.... finally find decent fleet... decent fleet quickly becomes bigger fleet no big deal... bigger fleet calls in logis or falcon or both every time...

I can say i dont give a **** about the isk and have evidence to prove that as much as i want, but the response from almost everybody in some way shape or form is simply "Umadbro?" without even understanding the post.

So you intentionally fly out to lose shitfits, and claim that it somehow proves that solo PvP is dead?

oh i know this as well, this is just the end. im not saying i didnt use to go around in fleets and kill stuff in the past.. but even in fleet vrs fleet warfare, this game is all about who has the bigger fleet. skill has an impact of course, but significantly less and less all the time.

current mechanics of the game require alliances to be in giant napfests, and have more numbers than the other guy, thats all it is anymore which is fine i guess, but CCP catering to the old type of gameplay isnt going to happen, hence why i said if they fix it ill come back, but their not going to fix it, so its a metaphor in a twisted dumb way of saying im not coming back.

I understand you OP.

I have been around since 2006 and the game has changed many times over the years.

My advice (without resorting to meme) would be to move with the times.

I havent logged in for anything except skill changes for about 6 weeks BUT for when i do get the Eve urge I have cunningly joined RvB. This at least gives me my own blob and a group of players looking to just have good fights.

Also if you are going to quit just quit. No one responding here is ever going to offer any sympathy which simply turns your situation into a self-fulfilling one. When CCP do the end of year accounts they will notice player count rises and falls and take the appropraite action.

solo pvp may come round again and if it ever does ill be there doing it Smile

well i wouldnt say shitfits, the fit worked great and did lots of damage and coulda tore through any of the ships in all fleets 1 v 1, or even 1 v 5 without logi or falcon, unfortunatley logis rep more than one person so yeah... i intentionally go out and lose ships, may as well spend the isk i have before sub runs out right?

solo pvp might not be dead... but its definetley way to low of a pulse to be considered going strong...

piracy is also dead, which is was usually a form of solo or small fleet, yeah theres -10.0's out there but that doesnt mean that person is a pirate, i havent seen anyone or heard of anyone getting ransomed in a long time, or lonely miners get ganked or anything, piracy is just dead

basically all the things i use to love to do in this game the first few years i played are dead or dieing or take way to much effort for the minute or two of entertainment.

yeah the post was asking for trolls lol

figured id go out with a few bangs and some last bit of "smack talk" before going away. worked wonders too, this game is all about da smack talk and stuff but you can tell most of these replies are from the people who have played for a year or two and think they are vets, but all i see in their replies is the highschooler response "Umadbro?" lol

also the whole get with the times thing... you know ... i thought about it... what i came up with was this

I put alot of work into the whole social aspect of this game, made friends id trust with any of my assets, and we had a blast for years, but ive ran my course and the game is just in a decline for me now. i could move with the times but that would require a lot of work to make more "Friends" and i really just dont think its worth it anymore.

iv'e seen more spectacular things and done more spectacular things, but its not a normal occurance, and im willing to bet that the camp was probably by newish players, taking sentries, no logi or falcon obviously, and probably in larger ships not able to track the cruiser.

I understand the post, but I fail to see why you would choose a ship that only proves your point.

With as much SP as you have, and presumably as much experience as you have to go with it, I'd expect you to spend a few billion ISK on something that gets around a lot faster and makes it easier to decide which battles you are going to fight.

Staying alive and playing in solo PvP comes down to essentially two things: The ability to maneuver and get around, and get out, and the ability to selectively isolate and remove your adversaries.

Not sure of any better way to put it. A Tier 3 Battleship only really has one of those bases covered: The ability to get out.

What you want is a HAC or something like, that is fast and fits easily to compensate for it's lower tank. The active tank is more feasible on one of these because it has lower sig and higher speed to reduce potential incoming DPS and doesn't get locked up in a second.

Even then you fit some buffer to reduce the impact of alpha and you focus on holding targets and limiting their potential maneuverability.

Those are your best options, and I think always have been. Outmaneuver your opponents and you will have a better and more interesting fight. Go out to die, and you'll end up wasting your time and losing your ship.

You'll probably lose your ship either way, but at least it will leave you feeling better if you don't just sit there and take DPS like a pin-cushion. The BS route doesn't offer a lot of options, and the only way you're getting out is if you stay on gate and deaggress to jump while using a buffer tank. Even then, you probably won't get away unless the next system is highsec and they attacked you.

what i think is, kil2 is good at the game yes... but most of the 1 v 1's are frigate/destroyer kills/fights... pretty much anything bigger than a destroyer he had at least a small fleet to help him... the one or two exceptions was ethereal dawn... he killed a hugginn/curse in a myrm... not that far fetched... ED are noobs for the most part, but going deeper into my problems with the game, alliances like that replace those losses like nothing. games broken in alot of ways... kil2 is just one exception

I wouldn't say it was dead as such; more...Why bother soloing when you can blob things, get the kills and never lose ships, ISK takes time to make for most. I love soloing...But it's rare...Which is a shame.

There are plenty of solo-action in Factional Warfare.
