What do you miss from the older clients?

I miss the loading time of CQ when it first came out, it was almost as fast as loading with CQ off.

Locked targets had a 3 part circle around them for shield/armor/hull. looked a lot more sleek than 3 separate lines.

I also remember when missiles needed Line of Sight. It was slightly annoying in a asteroid field because 7/10 missiles would hit a roid instead of your target, but it was still very cool. You could also hit the wrong ship, which could make concord very angry.

The old escrow system was way better than contracts.

The old speed/shield/armor/hull UI before overheating UI butchered it.

I miss Yulia (Yuila? Yulai?) being the main trading hub instead of Jita.

I also miss my torp caracal and cruise missle kestral.


I do NOT miss having to click a button to toggle between hi, mid, and low slots on the UI. Only 8 slots were visible at a time and trying to switch between guns/ewar/and tank was pretty intense during PvP.

That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money....

the music intro was way better the "revealtions II intro was the epic intro music ever" even today i get the ghost bumps when i hear the music again. i wish i can download them again the are remove from the orginal website Sad

I never played any of the older EVE expansions but if the videos I've seen are any indictation it looks like the old style graphics had less aliasing issues when it came to really fine lines in and on stations.

I miss the old sound effects when warping. Its way too quiet now.

• The 'classic' client with black navy mega, bright red ares, enyo etc etc
• The old inventory
• The old station interiors (along with auto-spin)

Old sounds, especially the old gate fire sounds and the squish sound when you blew up a capsule. Twisted

And of course the pleasure hub station interior.
