I never knew him personally, all I ever knew him was by the stories I heard and the people that he led.

He will be missed.

Every last member of GSF and all friends of VR have my condolences tonight, my thoughts are with you all. This is some pretty ****ed up ****.

I've had the honor of getting to know Sean via the CSM alumni channel, and had several private exchanges with him as well during my term. I regret not being able to get to know him better in the time we had. I could tell one thing though - the man was passionate about the game, and passionate about his community, and had he run in CSM8 as the CFC representative he would have made a strong chairman.

Rest in peace, Sean. EVE will miss you. You served both your community and your country with excellence.

I am a rugby player... an odd breed of man that would happily punch an opponent one second, and laugh about the whole thing over pints and strippers later on.

Over my many years in EVE, I have learned to truly dislike Goons. I have left alliances and corps because they were going into alliances with Goons, and happily shot any Goon on site. The only good Goon is a podded Goon. (would you like to know more...?)

But this is a game.... and while I don't like the way the Goons choose to play it, I would happily buy a Goonie a pint and sit down to discuss and obsess over the game we both love.

RIP Vile Rat..... the game just won't be the same.
