Im not sure who made it but for anyone that didnt know there is a chat chan called " wormholes "

Wspace colonists is absolutely perfect and is there for exactly the purpose you suggested here

just use the public channels from the bigger alliances. they are as much wormhole public chat as actually dedicated to that alliance anyway. t-lost talun and exhale's public usually have all sorts of people in it. we even allow cybus to stay there!
