Where do frigate A- and B-type modules come from?

I occasionally (not as often as I'd like) find frigate and cruiser C-type modules in high-sec complexes.

I was wondering where the A- and B-type ones come from? I would imagine they come from low- and null-sec complexes, but don't these have battleship faction rats at the end? So they'd drop large sized modules?

There are frigate complexes too, I think.

The other day I warped to a beacon in High Sec and a frigate there dropped a Coreli C-type item (LOL), so I expect null sec complexes have plenty of frigates which can drop the stuff.

In case of frigates they both come from hisec.
A types - lookout, watch, vigil and DED3
B types - DED2

For cruisers you need to go to lowsec.
A types - Outpost, Minor Annex and DED6
B types - DED5
C types - Provisional Outpost and DED4

Nullsec complexes only drop battleship sized deadspace loot.

So it's actually possible to get A- and B- type from 3/10 and 4/10s - I didn't know that. Wow. Anyone who gets one of those probably falls off their chair.

Not really no.
But when you get 3bil in loot from Guristas DED6 then yes - falling from chair is a correct reactionLol

Pithi C-Type small shield booster - From static 1/10 DED Pith Robux Asteroid Farm
Pithi B-Type small shield booster - From static 2/10 DED Pith Deadspace Depot
Pithi A-Type small shield booster - From DED 3/10 Guristas Guerrilla Grounds. (must be scanned)

Pith C-Type medium shield booster and more tasty stuff from DED 4/10 (must be scanned).

These are all from caldari space (guristas).

You can add invulns B-type in low sec (1 billion piece) and other funky stuff worth of your time.

The least I've got was a little bit above 1.3B but already got the jackpot (little above 3 bils)

It drops good stuff quite often but the site itself is extremely rare, which is a good thing of course.
And yes, that jackpot is really impressive, almost excessiveLol

Only because some people will/can pay that amount for one.
