Chribba has at least one of each cap and super cap (not on the same char) including titans.
The recent Faction warfare scam/bug that goons pulled was done by only a few people and it used hundreds of billions in upfront costs...

I recently broke the billion isk mark and I thought I was well loaded with isk, but now I'm not sure. Is it common to have a billion?

I guess people who fly shiny tengus and golems can afford to lose them, which must mean they have several billion perhaps.

It's all a matter of need, if like me tend only to fly frigates, ceptors, cruisers then I can easily manage on a few hundred million.
I'm past the shiny shiny stage so although having lots of isk is nice it's not really needed.

Obviously if you want to fly SC's, Titans then you're going to need lots of isk.

1 Billion ISK is nothing. I can make that in a week doing 2 missions a night after work.

I don't believe this :-) 14 L4 missions @ maybe average 20mil a time with good salvage ~= 300 mill.

Fixed the quote.

I'm suprised you've never come across BS on the forums before???? Had some other clown the other day saying he killed 100 ships this month in his pilgrim lol and behold he hadn't even killed a 100 ships ever.

Pro tip: a lot of people in these threads seem to think they make a lot more than they actually do. But on second thought he never said where and who he was running missions for. I know you can make a bomb load off of pirate missions cus of lp but I cant remember any amounts.

If you can make 5 bil in an hour, you're either doing it right or insane.

Maybe both.

Since RMT was introduced, rich has lost all meaning in eve.

EG: work for 1 week in real life, earn £1000, buy Time codes for cash, sell Time codes for isk = richest in eve?

I would like to have a 5 bill cushion - someday. No idea why, it just sounds like a decent isk buffer.

Broadly speaking, so long as my incoming isk is greater than my ship losses, I am a happy soul.

Nope. Just get Enemies Abound 3 of 5 on 2 agents in one station and don't kill the last 3 frigates in the last room. When server resets you can do it again. That's 100 million ISK a day just in tags from 2 instances, with at least another 50 million in salvage.

And there's another Lvl 4 agent 2 jumps away from my home system so I can have 3 instances running at once until the quest times out and I complete it (so as not to lose standing).

the idea of rich is subjective, i have been playing EvE since 2007, and i have never had a networth above 3 billion and have never had more than 1.5 billion isk liquid. some people would call me poor and a **** poor player, but i rate rich as having enough isk to do what i want and have fun doing it. if i can have fun on 500 million then i'm rich, if i have 5 billion and am not having fun then i'm not rich enough.

sand box= doing what i want when i want in the method that i want to do it in.

Yes.

What do you exactly mean get it on two agents in one station?

As in get the same mission on two different agents but in the same station? Why does that need to be done?

I chose a station that has 2 Lvl 4 Agents. So you just take all the missions from each agent until they both give you Enemies Abound and work through to 3 of 5. Then don't complete them. I think the time out is 5 or 6 days or something like that, so you can do the mission once on each agent every 24 hrs.

Simples.

Reminder: being Caldari farming 3 of 5 of known mission, result in massive standing loss with Gallente.
Farm 5 of 5 and you are loved only by Amarr and Caldari.
