Greeting all,

I would like to ask who is running the khanid kingdom i have noticed a change in the market more in khanid prime is there something going down there?

Is there a new khanid [based] Alliance running the area or trying to be something there not?

If so whats the future gonna look like for the kingdom, is this person or persons going to come forward and tell everyone there plans for the kingdom or stay hidden behind closed doors?

Would test alliance let [this] alliance grow in the area seeing that i would see Querious be the best place for a [such an] alliance to hold sov, or would they drop sov for them?

Garkeh Khanid is the man currently running the Khanid Kingdom.

The Kingdom is ruled by the King. Specifically, Khanid II.

As for who runs the Kingdom, that's a bit more complex. It's a neo-feudal system in which Khanid II owns every system but grants planets or systems to noble houses. In return, the members of those houses protect its borders and govern the population. The minutia of taxes, public services, and legal concerns are usually dictated by the nobility but a great deal is handled by the civil service, which commoners can join.

As for our plans, we're mostly focused on economy growth. After centuries of Imperial aggression, several of the border systems are economically depressed and that weakens the entire Kingdom. There's a push to build up industrial bases, strength planetary infrastructure, do renewal terramanipulation, and push commoners into higher education so we have a larger body of science and technical specialists to work with.

Parallel with economic growth is population growth. In many systems, there are incentives to having children and attempts to make the Kingdom more attractive to those interested in immigrating.

Does that answer your question?

Render unto Khanid the things which are Khanid's; and unto God the things that are God's.

The Kingdom is run by his majesty, of course. No person besides Khanid II can be said to run things, therefore.

Of course, things might have changed, but I doubt it. The larger and minor empires are mostly stable. I doubt there has been in an insurrection or I would have heard about it.

I will also state here that I love Khanid Kingdom space and will aid his majesty if ever he is threatened--and one day I will move back there, probably to help my son with his trading business or reassociate with old friends. It is a beautiful culture. Many of my former freed slaves settled there for this reason. I understand many took new masters and some even managed to remain free men and/or attain citizenship.

I have heard nothing to the effect that the stable feudal system that has served us so well is due to change anytime soon - and I doubt any capsuleer alliance could hope to change something as large and established as the Khanid Kingdom either way.

Moreover it is my belief that substantiative issues between the Kingdom and the Empire proper are also in abeyance. In short, if someone attacks King Khanid I expect that Empress Jamyl would be first in line to back him up. Second in line, of course, would be our Caldari allies who have an especially close relationship with the Kingdom.

Right now the Kingdom's focus, as stated by Lady Hanaya, is mostly fixed on economic and infrastructure investment and expansion.

*Esan reads the original post, sighs heavily, and mutters something about second-rate PR firms*

I believe what the Caldari slave above was trying to convey was that there has been a marked increase in the availability of capsuleer equipment on the market in the Khanid Prime system of late. There are rumours floating about concerning an alliance of industrialists whose aim is to build up the Kingdom's economic standing on the lucrative capsuleer market.

I applaud the effort.

Could someone please point me to this alliance? I currently trade in Agil and desire to help in anyway to build up the Khanid region. I discovered your region once I began trading on the advice of my father, who used to fly with some rogue wench capsuleer named Seeela Vita or some mess like that in the service of his majesty.

Also, please ignore anything my father Rall Mekin above says regarding his loyalty to the Kingdom... or even anything at all he says for that matter. He is a perverse degenerate that should be hunted down, pod killed, and then exterminated in transit to his new life by an appropriately timed computer malfunction.

Bayne, I served the Kingdom long before you ever received implants, when I was footing the bills for that expensive private school in Funtanainen and later that elite trading school for pre-capsuleers based in Jita 4-4. The money from those ventures, particularly, came from my years of service to his Majesty and my exploits with Silas Vitalia--that is how you correctly say her name for future reference please.

Now, please shut up and get off the IGS until you learn how to behave in public, or I will stop backing your horrible trade exploits, cut off your allowance, fire your servants, and confiscate your ships, all of which I hold a lega lien upon with Concord until you pay off my initial investment. Making blatant statements like that to capsuleers much older than you are likely to get you pod killed and possibly assasinated out-of-pod. I like having a child as a capsuleer, but I will biomass you myself if I hear anything else out of this.

Please tarnish our family name no longer.
