Hi all.

Anyone else out there noticed they are not getting benefits of AWU skill? It should give a 2% reduction per skill level to PG of turrets/launchers but seems to not be working for me.

I am trying to put 1400 T2's on a mach and it wont work. PYFA and EFT say it should with my skills (all at 5 fot the ones that count) and I see plenty of others out there rocking 1400 T2's without issue so what gives?

The screenshot below hopefully explains it better.

1400 T2's on a mach??

Thoughts?

PS - Already have a 5% PG implant in and realise a PDU etc would work, but point is that you shouldn't have to. Petition is in as well.

Maybe Pyfa and EFT are wrong.

The Gaming MoD - retro to modern, console to MMO, I blog about it if it's a game and I'm interested in it. Yes, I play games other than Eve and I don't care if you think I'm wrong.

You can cancel the petition, you have got a rig mounted. With a riging skill at lvl 4 your numbers fit. I have never flown a mach and probably never will, so I can only check out loadouts on battleclinic. They all have 800s.

That was going to be my first guess; screenshot confirms it. Nuke the rig or add a fitting mod.

You do realize that rig is gonna increase the power grid usage, right?

EDIT: Doh! beaten to it. Anyways the offensive rigging skills can be considered fitting skills, and are sometime worth training to 5.

the 800's are a better rof to provide better overall real game dps by many reports. I only ran 800s as many sources I can assume know better than I jsut said 1400's not real omfg worth it for the fitting pita so never tried 1400's..

1400's will hit hard but slow ass recycle time. And if they hit less than hard, you have longer cycles to make up for crap shots. 800's you just spew out ammo and get nice damage from volume of rounds you put out.

The Mach can apply damage at about the same distance it can lock a target with 800s. Arty doesn't really take advantage of it's strengths.
