Covert Ops cloaking Device II and being locked.

Im slightly confused on the whole cloaking and being locked, I believe you cant cloak while someone is locking you? My question is, when i activate cloak from breaking jump cloak, at what point do i become stealthed preventing enemies from locking me? Is it immediately when i hit the cloak and it glows green, or when my ship is totally cloaked?

If its the latter, im right in thinking that even with fast reactions from breaking jump cloak, and activating the module, there is around 1-2 seconds someone can lock you, preventing the module activating?

you cant be locked as soon as the module starts to cycle

So even when my ship is still visible to me for the couple of seconds, i cant be locked? Thanks for clearing that up for me.

As soon as the module turns green, you can't be locked.

However, you see that it takes a minute for you to actually "vanish" from space.

During that time, a fast mover could get on top of you, causing the cloak to drop.

And once you're decloaked...

Yes. Ignore the 'uncloaking' animation as well: you're instantly visible when you break cloak.

What he means is, you register on Overview right away.
