While this is true, Lords and Ladies of the Empire are expected to provide support for the Imperial Navy and Ministry of War through more than just prayer. Hardly, the House was stripped of its fleet not because it didn't consult the Imperial Navy but because it attacked outside of Imperial borders in direct violation to the law of the Empire. However, you are correct in that the duty of the Imperial Navy is to defend the Imperial borders, I remind you that it is the duty of all Lords and Ladies to support the Imperial Navy through methods listed above.

Prayer is well and good, but God tasked us with acting, not just praying.

Well, hasn't this little conversation taken an interesting turn....

It seems all that needs to be done to be classed as "loyal" to the Empire, is to pray. Wow, if i'd have known it was that easy, I never would have spent all that time leading my men in the defence of Sahtogas.

Either get off your butt and act, or be relegated to the chapters of history like so many before you. The Empire you wish to claim to be the almighty guru loveswarmy of is in need of REAL loyalists.

Undock and do something, or shut the hole under your nose and let those of us who are still relevant carry you - as we have for a few years now.

It is important to gather evidence before making a statement, especially when that statement is in opposition to another person. Please consider Imperial Pharmacy's records. While they may not have the most glorious combat record, nor the most active, it is obvious that they are indeed flying and fighting. They also seem to have picked up some new pilots as of late.

Somewhat brave, but usually almost every peasant of the Empire are fit to serve in starship or in planetary defence forces. Vast majority are not able to lead like me, or dedicate their lives to our God, when you are constantly ignored, insulted or even threatened by loyal warriorpeasants, who think they are unique in middle on ten billion other warriors.

Oh mighty Lord Vaari, thank you for showing me the error of my ways. Here I was, like a fool, thinking that God provides for those who actually provide for themselves. That He shows us the way but expects us to not be completely useless and lazy and actually do something.

Once again, your wisdom has shown through. I know now, like your example, the only thing I need to do is talk about how important I am, from the safety of a station, and the Empire will be just fine.

I have no doubt of that. Earlier you still proofed that you are not aware what lords are allowed to do and what they are not. You clearly thought that lords are some kind of private warlords within our empire, when situation is almost entirely opposite, if royal heirs are left outside of concept. Back to school, whelp and maybe after thirty years you know some basics about the governing of our Empire.
