EVE Won't Launch

For the past couple of months EVE has simply refused to launch from the launcher. No splash screen or anything. I click the "play" button, it goes gray for a second or two, then returns to normal and nothing happens. I've tried clearing the cache and everything I could find related to the matter in the forums, and this is now a completely clean install (I haven't even been able to patch because the client refuses to start). Any help regarding this matter would be awesome.

Start with the logserver running, maybe it shows something usefull in there. If you can't see anything in there, maybe a dxdiag to check if pc meets minimum requirements

It's a brand new PC and it ran fine up until just about a month or so ago. I managed to get in by following another suggestion and running the .exe file from the bin folder, but I'm not sure how well that will work once the next patch comes out.
