I read through quite a few of the posts regarding the enhancing of mining barge defense yet regardless I still see plenty of kills occurring unabated in High Sec. I'm the developer of a new open source killboard system and a site hosting an instance of it. Some corps and pilots have added their API keys there to see what it's like already and from those it's apparent that no matter how much CCP buffs these ships the kills keep a-coming.

http://www.decloaked.com/corp/Elite%20Industries%20Ltd/losses Within 20 minutes a Hulk and Orca gone for the same corp - looks like some hapless guy and his alt - killed by a lone Jaguar in High Sec. AFK much? Pretty funny actually Big smile Survival of the fittest still in effect.

OH GOD NO! MINERS ARE AT RISK! Shocked

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

This just in: some spaceships have been blown up in a PvP spaceships game.

And now: sports.

Further measures are obviously necessary to shape and tailor this 9 year old game to fit the current market of safe and secure games as a whole with more handholding, simpler control schemes, extended tutorials, and a relentless drive to seize the money of even the most drooling incompetent.

Yes. I'm sure CCP was trying to block all suicide ganking from hisec. Hulks did not get any meaningful tank boost at all, and Orcas weren't changed, to use your example.

Keep in mind a lot of kills were always from wardecs/awox rather than suicide ganks, in addition to the kills in low/null. If you spend some time in the highsec ice fields, however, you'll find the exhumer/barge changes did make a big difference in suicide ganking.

Isn't it 10 years old now?

Posting in a not-very-stealth advertisement for the OP's new killboard.

Thought we just celebrated the 9th anniversary earlier this year.

Orcas can't be suicided by single AFs. I doubt a hulk can be either. So the miner either aggroed or they were at war. Nothing to do with the changes to barges, nothing to see here.
