As the title suggests Im intrested in figuring out what part of 0.0 is best suited for sec status gain . adding in How busy the place is the ammo supply should you not be using crystals docking rights ect ect

i was considering the idea of paying someone for blue standing for abit but the chance of gettin screwed over is too big for me to bother .. idd much rather ninja Ratt the belts or just use npc space. . But im not sure what space would be best suited ..any suggestions ?

no 1 area realy

way i used to do it was cloaky interdiction nullifyer t3 go to to entry point and set a looooong way point get 4-5 jumps in then start hitting a bs in each system for ammo take a cloaky hauler that u scout with the t3

sec grind is a long and boring proces avoide station systems and choke points and dead end clusters u might hit some nic faction ships also give nice sec hit and if av hauler alt can walk away from it with good few bill 1nce u from -10 to say +0 just use your head stay away from war zones

gl enjoy the grind

Well, the pirate home regions all have -1.0 true sec so spawn high end belt rats which give better sec gain. They also have npc stations you can dock in. Stain is probably the best as the rats are easy to kill and it is a big region with loads of npc stations. On the other hand its a big region full of npc stations with lots of easy to kill high bounty rats so its quite busy and thus dangerous. On the other hand you could find a practically safe dead end in lo sec and grind 500k rats to your hearts content but it would take longer. So really its about how much risk you are willing to take. I would definately suggest stain personally, especially if you fly amarr and 1 rat systems in something quick like a zealot or legion.

i was thinking about going the Nullified t3 way .. and i can fly them all so idd pick one depending on the area .. Unless some of them are Impossible to fit with nullifier and cloak on ..

im willing to take all the risk needed to finish the job in the shortest time possible

Venal worked well for me. Manticore with T2 launchers kills a Guristas BS pretty fast and can easily work a ring of 6-7 systems.

Ninja ratting in null is the fastest method, as far as I'm aware. Yet even this is painfully slow. I would strongly recommend a boost to sec status gain. No point in making people grind for too long, is there? Smile

Altho bombers work nicely i still hate to deal with the hundreds of bubbles people setup these days . drag bubbles in 27 directions ect .. so much easyer just sneaking by with a nullified t3 imo ..

Great Wildlands is reasonably close to empire and tends to be very empty (aside from the station systems).

Lasers are not an option (Angel rats) but you can always put up some GSCs at safespots to restock ammo at.

T3 with Nullifier+cov ops cloak. And try some quiet regions like Great Wildlands, Outer ring or Stain (some constelations of it). And of course shoot one BS and move to next system.. etc. Very fast sec status grind.

Vagas/Ishtars make good ninja ratters, just fit a cloak. The vaga moves around quicker and easier, while the ishtar requires no ammo.

A t3 with cloak/nullifier is gonna do **** poor dps in comparison.

Use a bomber. With mwd + cloak you can avoid pretty much all camps, and as a bomber you can safely shoot rats with 10+ hostiles in system. A tengu might draw attention, a bomber won't. Besides t3 costs 800M for 350 dps, but bomber can do 600-700 for 50M.

Venal in the HI1J const. Look for areas that have a good loop layout. So you can kill a rat move to next system kill another, etc. That is ofc unless they changed how the system works, its been a few years.

Ratting in nullsec should result in no sec gain. Changing this would be logical, and perhaps bring more life to lowsec.

Assuming this is a pure sec grind then Great Wildlands in a Hound is the way to go.

Reasons :

1) GW is mainly dead if you're off the main route but a bomber will get you through E02/M-M if you need to

2) There are only two Angel belt frigates which scram you and you kill the single BS you want long before they get close;

3) N-DQ station is mainly dead, nice place to leave a JC - you can run up and down the pipe from there to Etherium Reach and hardly ever see anyone.
