Question regarding Drone Rats

As we know the drones got changed from droping compounds to Bounties,
and the question is,

Why dont we get security standings for killing drones?

some general information regarding just this matter,

Security standings is pretty much Standings to CONCORD corperation ( npc )
example of this,

My standings to CONCORD is -5.10 (bad) this puts my security standing -5.1 aka flashy pirate

'' Diplomacy skills dont take effect on the security standings, u need to look at ( raises standings from #.## ) ''


NPC rats in general is WANTED by CONCORD and award pilots with isk and standings for killing those,
the only NPC rat that use an exception is Drone Rats, They are WANTED so u gain isk but not standings,

Can and will CCP change this?

if u ask me it feels kinda bad that they are WANTED dead by CONCORD and dont give same benefits as rest of the NPC rats,

I don't think the drones are wanted criminals. I think they just pay a bounty for pest control.

tho then what i think they should award standings aswell for pilots that controlling this pest?

IIRC The CSM minutes mentioned something about CCP adding security standing increases to drone rats in the winter expansion, along with loot tables and faction and officer spawns.

I tested CCP Bettik's changes to add a sec boost to all the rogue drone NPCs this morning, and the numbers all checked out. Should be live on TQ this winter.

(We're aware that there are still holes in the rogue drone content lineup, and we're working slowly on filling them all as time allows.)

Those dudes living there deserve also some better rewards, at least better salvaging be it more parts or randomly better ones (T2) to make it attractive to live there and stay.

Right now it's a little bit messy.

Can you figure out you don't need to live there to do stuff over there and realise how unattractive this region is. Well with my roaming mates we always talk about this while we kill gate rats of even some sites just to the fun of figuring out the huge difference there is when I clean some Blood riders rat belt, Guristas and then drones.

The fixes those really need are being put on the market and having their skill reqs bumped down. That will make them worthwhile to sell and cheaper. They could also be made to be made good, but one step at a time.

Another easy fix, as someone else mentioned, would be buffing salavge. I should probably be able to get a little better salvage from a 10/10 anom than a do from a Lv.3 pirate mission.
