After capping out in a fight with my Ferox, I went and took at look at the Show Info of my Ferox's capacitor to see the base and then went to compare it to a Brutix's base cap. For some reason, the Show Info on the Ferox lists the ship's capacitor capacity at 2.5k GJ. By capacitor, with Energy Management at 5 shows that the Ferox has 2.53k GJ. Furthermore, pyfa shows that the Ferox has a capacitor capacity of 2.03k GJ.

tl;dr
Game lists Ferox's base cap at 2.5k GJ when actually it is 2.03k GJ.

You don't have a microwarpdrive fitted right?

Yes, he does. Because the ferox's base cap capacity IS 2.5k
