The idea is simple, if I open my assets inventory and select an item or ship, I should be able to repackage them. The main advantage is that I would be able to put to sale all those ships and items I have stuck in nullsec stations I no longer have access to. I have skills such as Trade and Marketing, but they are useless if the items in question are not packaged.

I fully support this, especially if it includes the ability to strip fittings remotely. Hell, make it a skill I have to train, I don't care. I have some really terribly fit ships from my newbie days that are now in hostile stations and I'm just too embarrassed to contract them! Oops

I don't yet have the problem of having assets in stations I no longer have access to, but I support this for whenever it inevitably happens.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Pretty sure you are already able to do this so long as the ship/module is not damaged. What is really needed is the ability to remote repair.
