Hi All,

Yesterday I decided to begin taking the plunge into PVP. I put a cool looking fit on my Merlin, flew out to pick a fight, lost horribly, and had a blast!

Now, I'm pretty good on Merlin fits to try out but my main question is... where are some good places to troll around low-sec looking for fights? I spent most of last night flying around and killing low-sec NPCs because I only found a few actual players to shoot at. Advice?

Also if anyone has some general PVP advice they would liek to share I'm all ears Big smile

the frigate faction warfare complexes are a decent place to start, since it limits larger ships getting in.

That's a good idea, but I'm not really lookingto join the militia at the moment. I'm looking more for some solo PVP.

I always found that Solo PVP was a bit hit and miss, sometimes you'd get a few good fights, others you'd be totally outnumbered - or find nothing.

As long as you don't mind getting killed a lot, Molden Heath can be a treasure trove, you'll normally find something willing to blow you up there, especially near the High Sec entry systems

Everybody can enter FW plexes not only militia members (assuming gate will let you in but in frig you can enter generally any kind of FW plex). Being in militia allows you to contest plex by spinning around button and farm LP but shooting is for anybody who wants to do it (unfortunately FW currently is one big farmfest with stabbed ships without guns so they run away most of the time).

You don't need to join fw to roam the systems. Check map stats, fw is under sov. The open plexes are visible on eveyone's overview.

Check out NPC controlled null-sec regions, especially the systems that border low-sec regions. You can pvp on the gates in null-sec without having those pesky gate guns & you will find way more traffic.

Check out khabi to 7q-

I'll definitely check that out. And I'm totally up for getting sploded, I've got about 25 Merlins to burn through so I can afford to lose one (or 20).

I'll have to look into FW more as well, it sounds like it will be a blast (no pun intended). I'm always looking for ways to learn and improve my skills as a pilot!
