you can do anything in virtual, you aren't limited to earth. if you physically explore this universe you will not be able to play warcraft in reality, magic does not exist here...

I think the bad thing is, there will always be someone who is "running" the virtual world you are in. So in other words, there's always someone who is controlling everything you can do in there. If someone does a thing that the controller finds not acceptable, he/she'll just "patch" the virtual world to not allow it.

And if you create that world yourself and invite people there, then the controller is you, and the other people in there have the same problem.

So, in the end it would be worse in terms of freedom in that virtual world, since the controller can see whatever you do and where ever you are at any given time. You might as well live in the real world and dodge a few security cameras every now and then.

It's true. Illuminati vs. Anonymous might as well be the Goons vs BoB or ASCN or the Devs...TPTB will do what they will do and AI will do what it will. It's silly to think that anyone is watching you out of anything but curiosity. There's just too many of us for "god" to handle, especially since he's gotta calculate such improbabilities as the morality of amobae on amobae gang warfare. Might as well be playing a game like EVE. RL is something to take seriously though, try not to die in RL seems like a good measuring stick. If someone tells you they're a ghost tell em to prove it.

Considering how most of the human population doesn't care at all for space exploration, we're not going anywhere soon.
Space is expensive

Like most new technologies, it won't be expensive forever.

Drones will go first. Hopefully a faster means of communication will be ready. Even to Mars it takes 20 minutes to send a signal.

But I don't think we are going anywhere. The world is heading for a kind of fuedalism where a few elite will control a mass of ignorance, and the masses will only care about Bieber, how fat they are, etc.

Space exploration beyond the solar system will have to wait until the human race learns...... well it had to learn to take a freaking shower 1000 years ago so things are not looking good.
