What is winter expansion bringing?

I can't seem to find anything that says what the winter expansion will be about. Something about contract overhaul and pos revamp that won't make it in time for the winter expansion. Other than that... what?

I ask because I'm so incredibly bored ingame. I've tried everything this game has and nothing is grabbing my interest. Is there any hope for fun gameplay coming in the next expansion or am I wasting my time?

Well rebalacing a lot including destroyers. Plus they always put something in to make it fun, whether that fun is the players threatening to burn CCP to the ground or us actually liking the changes.

Just making the game better, but as you are a hi-sec pirate maybe you should graduate to lo-sec or if you haven't tried before give RvB a go.

Yeah I'd have to point out high-sec piracy probably isn't part of the core gameplay for eve... I'd agree with Frying, try low-sec ?

Might be wasting your time, but hopefully shortly the devs will start talking about the winter expansion. So could hang on that long.

People have been on summer vacations and we've been looking at the ideas we have for the coming months and prioritizing the ones we like best and think we can complete in time. So news of upcoming features will start to emerge as soon as the devs have had time to arrange more of the details. And we'll bring you In Development videos with more info about the future real soon too ;). Ttue there's been little news, but that will change.

Oh, and get a ticket to EVE Vegas! It'll be awesome.

What about something like FW but for people who are more interested in doing PvE? As a new player, I want to do FW but I have no PvP experience so it would be like a duck flying out over a hunters blind with the intention of becoming diner for that hunter.

I believe that incursions would be the PVE equivalent of FW.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
