What do you miss from the older clients?

I would also like some of the old module/ammo names back. For example:

1MN Catalyzed Cold Gas Arcjet Thrusters
Foxfire Rockets
Firefly F.o.F. Light Missile
Bloodclaw Light Missile
Gremlin Rocket

I would also like the removal of the following prefixes for Meta Items:
- Limited
- Prototype

Those Prefixes just make the item sound worse than the non-Meta Tech I version. Remember back when the Meta 3 Energized Membranes had the name of 'Microcell Nanite'?

I miss the ctrl+alt zoom feature. not sure why it was removed, but it was nice when recording videos and you can point out something (like small text) so people watching the video could see it. Even though I never used it for that. Still miss it though.

This a Million times this, i cant hit the like button more than once, but if i could you would have many more likes for this!!

And WTF you mean learning skills didnt have to be trained before any other skill? i spent my first 5msp not playing this char waiting for those things to train!

With each expansion, a new theme played and while you can get a hold of them, I'd prefer to have them in game in the jukebox.

The old Scanning mechanic that required more skill than the easymode one we have now.

Flying around and passing through empty systems, even in hisec. And seeing untouched roid belts. (Not that it's a bad thing that EVE is a lot busier now, I just miss those days, space seemed so much bigger back then).

Two things i miss...

1. Widesceen mode for the client

2. Aura saying " you are unable to warp as you have been warp scrambled"

Still baffles me why they were removed, & actually need re-implementing

the square wingy bits on the fleet tempest, god knows which numpty thought changing them was a good idea,
the ear shattering sound of the old 1400's.
the old inventory god i wish it was back.

the old intro was awesome, much better than the new one, it's what got me into eve and what had me spending hours reading through the wiki's and chronicles to learn more of the backstory.

Old portraits, because they had more flavour.

Sniper fleets.

Some of the more artistic effects that where miles beyond the new ones.

Oh yeah and some of the intro's where classic!

Lol, Nah i played another char to make noobie mistakes on while i trained learning skills on this char. Shame i didn't practice names first on a nooby char
