Today at 7:00 Urthel Drengist(a capsuleer!) has surrendered himself into State Authorities.

Urthel Drengist is accused by the State of using the black market during his days at S.T.I, as the House of Records had noticed that Drengist was making invalid and illegal transactions for educational material not authorised by the State. The State after seeing those transactions and noticing that Mr Drengist was closely affiliated with Anarchy tried to bring Mr Drengist into State court for questioning, but Mr Drengist had already fled from Caldarian space in fear of his life, which in addition to the charges of using the Black Market the State now pressed charges of Mr Drengist avoiding arrest and not complying with State laws.


Nashokoda Pekumatken , a Judge of the Law Department within Chief Executive Panel gave Mr Drengist a trial at 8:00 until 10:30. Here is more of what the judge said

'' First of all Mr Drengist's case is something very common not only for the State but for all the factions of New Eden. That doesnt mean that his behavior is acceptable. He has broken State laws and failed to comply accordingly. However, Mr Drengist has never caused any troubles within the State except the one where he resisted arrest. There are no criminal or terrorist actions being made by this person, in fact during his stay in Darras solar system Mr Drengist alongside with the rest of the corporation(a subsidiary of Ishukone named Darras Drilling Corp) of his father served the State notably bringing in profits and fighting off pirates in multiple occasions.

Mr Drengist was scared because his political affiliations were outside the norms of the State. However, the State in order to protect the citizens had to see whether or not Mr Drengist was making a move against the State.

After today's invenstigation on the records of Mr Drengist for the State Mr Drengist cannot be considered an Anarchist with the traditional sense, but a liberal; a bloc which exists greatly within the State and should he not have resisted arrest we would not ''bother '' him any longer. In fact with the education that Mr Drengist has received the State would actually look forward in making him a valuable asset of the Megacorporations.

To sum up, Mr Drengist has not taken any hostile actions against the State, he has never caused troubles besides the one who he is accused of, and during his absence from the State Mr Drengist has not come in any contact with enemies of the State as the invenstigation suggested. In addition, he is lucky because he turned himself in, without causing any more troubles for the State.

Thus, the punishment of Mr Drengist will be a fine of 300 million ISK, and a 3 month full survailance on economic data and the locations Mr Drengist will go to. In addition, after the 3 months further actions will be taken but also there will be a hearing by the same court to see whether or not Mr Drengist deserves to become a citizen of the State again or not, an action and a right which has been exercised by Mr Drengist today.

The Law is the Law and it must be followed every time. Mr Drengist has not taken any violent action against Tibus Heath, any Megacorpotion or any citizen within Caldari space. At worst according to Mr Drengist's actions he can be considered extremely liberal; which as it has i said just now, it is an accepted bloc within the State. Thus, the State's punishment can not be any greater than those above. Mr Drengist has turned himself in, clearly regretful for his actions, a move which is apreciated by this court.

The State is not an oppressive tyranny, everything it does, it does it to protect its citizens and the State at all costs. But in addition the State is fair and judges based on actions, and Mr Drengist's actions as proven by the invenstigation were not harmful in any way towards the State or any citizen within it.

Mr Drengist got scared of the force by the State and run. We are proud to say that he chose to receive the same treatment as any citizen of the State who would be under this condition. In addition let it be known that Mr Drengist should not be harmed in any way by anyone. He has a debt to pay for the State. Thank you for hearing me ''

When asked as to why he turned himself in Mr Drengist answered the following:

'' It was a big burden for me to bring such a dishonor to my family. My family and the ancestors of the Drengist family should not go down in History as dishonourable or traitors to the State because of my political beliefs. This is a move to restore the name of my family, taking full acceptance of the penalties which have been ordered for me. I know I have went against State laws and i want to come clean.
I am grateful for receiving a fair treatment by the State, where my rights were not violated which with this action proves me and the rest of New Eden that it is a fair State non violent, and non oppressive without a good reason. Thank you''

When asked a brief question of whether or not he is still an Anarchist or not Mr Drengist said the following:
