Have been enjoying low sec exploration for a fair few weeks now, using a cyclone for Mag and Radar sites and been working through them with relative ease and making some nice ISK :-)

My question is though, is it possible to solo 4/10 combat sites (sansha and blood primarily) in a cyclone? If it is I can just carry the kit on board, dock and up and refit. If some one does have a fit dfor this id appreciate it (or if not im guessing a fairly standard mission run fit would work). Ideally not using a cap booster, as lugging all those boosters around isnt ideal, but its not the end of the world if its the only solution.

I have solo'd Sansha Watch, and on Vigil tanked enough to kill the commander and loot, so I dont think its a stupid question, but may be a bit close. If anyone has any experience in this id appreciate youre thoughts.

At my skills I dont think theres anything better for the job at the moment (except maybe a Drake? and I have very poor missile skills...) From what i gather a Tengu is probably a better tool for the job, but if the Cyclone wouldnt work would a Loki?

Thanks in advance guys o/

I saw a few guys/gals soloing Sansha 4/10 in a Rupture or Omen so Cyclone should have no problems here.

Just remember to fit good tank against EM/TH and EMP ammo and you should be ok.
Some Sansha rats like to put tracking disruption on you ( mostly frigates ) so just kill them first.

There are no warp scramblers in 4/10 so in case of any problems you can just warp out in time.

As for the Tengu - it's not that good against Blood/Sanshas.
As for the Loki - it's a Tech3 cruiser so it has much better tanking capabilities than most battlecruisers and similar damage application.

The Blood 4/10 can be soloed in any long-range BC such as artillery Hurricane (I guess arty+HML Cyclone would work too but its damage projection is worse), Tornado, Drake, Oracle, etc. Just snipe everything in the first room and in the second room snipe the overseer structure, bookmark the can it drops, warp out and come back a few minutes later when the plex despawns.

If you can tank long enough to run the Watch/Vigil, you should be able to run the Sansh 4/10 fairly easily. As to the Blood one, you could probably do it if you're ASBed, but the Blood one neuts fairly hard.

As to a T3, here's a Loki fit I've used to great effect in Sansha/Blood space (I've run all highsec Sansha/Blood sites except the Blood Watch/Vigil, due to never running into either one). I also carry a SBA in the hold that I can swap in if I want more tank.

Thanks very much guys for advice :-)
Have just run 4/10 Sansha site, despite ballsing up my tank with wrong hardeners was able to run it in buffer tank Cyclone (2 LSE and 2 invulns [EM+therm better]).
Loki fit looks nice, is next on my training que.

I am guessing you fly drakes on your other accounts.

I do them in a Vexor fine. Funny to when I am cleaning one out and somebody comes in with a BC and sees me.
I always get the question did you do this all yourself? Yep. No problem.

Vexor does have a bit crazy DPS for a t1 cruiser though, I'm not sure if other ships can match it with equally low skillpoints. Arbitrator is another one that comes to mind. Drones let you speedtank everything while you kill them with pretty significant DPS.

Nope. Only account. I know cyclone works best fitted for active tank, but whenits already fited for exploration and I dont want to be lugging around a full cargo hold of cap boosters on the off chance, buffer seems to work ok. But I am always happy to have a better way pointed out to me :-)
And after getting ganked on a radar site last night im will be buying and fitting a new Cyclone soon.........
