best solo mining implants

hello everyone.

TLDR: bad google-fu, what's the best solo mining implants?

i was board the other day so i decided i need to watch dexter and game of thrones. meanwile on the other screen, my indy toon is chewing up rocks in a mackinaw.
i'm relatively inexperienced in mining and didn't find any up to date resources, so my question is: what implants do you plug in when you want to afk-mine in hisec? also, i have the mining foreman skill, do i need to be in a squad if i want it to work?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Yeah, for foreman bonus you need to be in a fleet, undocked and in the same system.

For implants, the 'Highwall' implants will give you more yield - 1,3 and 5% versions. Only for Ore though. The 'yeti' implants are for reducing cycle time with ice.

You could get a Michii implant but they are going for about a bill isk last I checked. Comes from a storyline agent iirc.

Btw, Game of Thones is like the best right? I'm reading the books now :p

the books are better than the show from what i heared but i got enough other reading material and the show is pretty cool so *shrug*...
@topic is there only the one implant slot that affects mining directly? what's best practice to put into the other slots?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Well yield. There are other ORE implants that affect range but I think they are really rare or not in game anymore. They are +2 stats as well.

But yeah, that's about it. Others might have other suggestions.

Personally I can't bear to be without my +5 attribute implants, as the Harvest set only gives +2, it is also insanely expensive as it is only available from ORE mission runners:

Slot 1: Low-grade Harvest Alpha
Slot 2: Low-grade Harvest Beta
Slot 3: Low-grade Harvest Gama
Slot 4: Low-grade Harvest Delta
Slot 5: Low-grade Harvest Epsilon
Slot 6: Low-grade Harvest Omega

Michi and Yeti are good if you want one set to cover both ice and ore, though having an ice clone and an ore clone is better. Michi is a luxury item in my opinion. I've put the mining implants in bold, as the rest are optional (and I'm paranoid).

Slot 6: Inherent Implants 'Squire' Engineering (required for some fits)
Slot 7: Zainou 'Gnome' Shield Managment or Michi's Excavation Augmentor
Slot 8: Inherent Implants 'Noble' Mechanic
Slot 9: Inherent Implants 'Noble' Hull Upgrades
Slot 10: Inherent Implants 'Highwall' Mining or Inherent Implants 'Yeti' Ice Harvesting

The fleet booster Orca will have:

Slot 7: Zainou 'Gnome' Shield Managment
Slot 8: Inherent Implants 'Noble' Mechanic
Slot 9: Inherent Implants 'Noble' Hull Upgrades
Slot 10: Mining Foreman Mindlink

I usually mine in a missile set that I run missions with.
