Why are NEX clothes gender limited?

The chothing has to fit the character model frame, animation and customization options. Designing cloth for one gender also limits the QA iteration that must be done, for any given item.

I'm also of the opinion that they should design for femal and male separately, since I believe that it will result in higher quality word hat really messes well with either gender, instead of unisex clothing that never really lets you express youself, since must look atleast decent on both models.

I go agree that they could use more variety, as well as more options for customization the character models themselves. For instace, the tatoo on my face would not be so promonent, and the chin tatto would be removed, or replaced with something else.

However, enough people expressed butt hurt over CCPs decisions to really do WiS right. If you didn't want to the monocle, don't buy it. Its pretty simple. But some people read way too much into it, and the marketing cheerlieadng email that was leaked did help. CCP got the wrong message that players don't want more customization and personalization options for thier characters. So much so that you can be sure that they will forever leave this area of the game undeveloped because players want spaceship they can't see behind their massive walls of texts and icons.

I think CCP plans on having people interact in stations someday, and if these two things happen:

1. You can leave your quarters in undies/naked
2. you can cross-dress


then the 12 year olds will be all over the damned place and the stations will look like the outside courtyard of the Stormwind auction house.

The former will incur a security penalty from CONCORD for public indecency.
The latter will incur attention from weirdos, footsies and crazies! (Which may be a worse penalty) :P
