Looks like the little boy has abandoned his own thread.

I guess he expected everyone to see his point, agree with him, etc, etc.

What a pansy...

Fit a propulsion module and don't do Level 1, 2 and 3 missions with medium or heavy drones.
Always light drones.

I even use light drones in level 4 missions. But that's because i'm a gunboat, not a droneboat. My guns take care of the cruisers and battleships, while my light drones take care of the frigates. And they do an excellent job ( aprox 1 mil in drones :P )

Plop 500,000 skill points into missiles (heavy T2 launchers).

Never need to spend another SP in missiles ever again.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Might I suggest doing some more level 1 missions while you get your skills up higher?

Edit: Also not having done the new tutorial missions, I must ask, what are they like?

no.every new player that gets into game wants to experience stuff, and fly big ships.and whatever u say or do will never change that.happened to everyone i know.also a little while ago a buddy of mine got ingame and left as fast as he got in.

you dont get into a game to farm the currency, you play a game to have fun.and ccp,eve is no fun for new players, and for not many players for that matter

Then good riddance to them. EVE does not need children with ADHD.

No challenge in level 1 missions...I would have thought that wouldn't have needed pointing out...

If you want a challenge, stop looking for it in PvE.

If you don't *want* to PvE in Eve that is completely acceptable. If you can't find a challenge in PvE in Eve, please biomass and uninstall.

just seconding (thirding?) the maller... don't use...

It's a brick - tough, slow and not much dps unfortunately :( look at what damage you're doing vs what the npcs tank against etc

use eve-survival to find out about missions etc.

tbh you might do better getting in a pvp corp and learning ships that way - more challenge - people to help etc etc. Just a thought.

Good luck!

That's just a sign that your trained skills are lacking. Happens quite often when people try to advance too quickly.

I wonder how many new players quit because of jerks like this?

Did you read the whole thread? People started giving the guy advice then he insults the community and threatens to quit. That post seems reasonable.

You've been playing for a month and you're still in a cruiser and can't even fly THAT well enough to obliterate level 2 missions? With my alt I was doing level 2 missions right when I managed to get my standing up to 1.0, which was about a day or half a day, in a Condor/Kestrel and that includes Blockade (that one took a LOT of effort and improvising, I'll give you that).

While you're a new player and I'm not, that doesn't change the fact that you have 1 month of training AND a cruiser (a drone cruiser that is even better actually) which should make level 2s a breeze, which directly translates to the fact that you have absolutely no idea how to fit a ship. You seem to be implying that you've done some research but it was clearly nowhere near enough.

And if the fact that the game needs some research to play properly equals bad is your entire point, consider that the reason why a very large portion of us are subscribing is exactly that depth the game has. We actually enjoy this "difficulty" (which isn't really difficulty per se if you ask me, it just happens to need a few more braincells than pressing X to win).

Cruisers need work and some races take longer to become proficient. Cruisers are tough, so are Amarr. SHould have trained a drake.

When they said, "EVE is hard," I had no idea they were talking about Level 2 missions. Shocked

Post with your monkey.
