arty Machariel + Chimera on undock: way to kill?

maybe you could cyno in a titan at 0 which can use its ultra large clip to bounce him out. On the other hand you just cynoed in a titan for 2 kills which have a 90% chance of not happening.

Will never happen. The Mach gets parked in the Carrier and the Carrier docks, unless the pilot is a complete ******.

It's blatant abuse of game mechanics (along with the ever-present Orca gatecamp), but 'elite PVPers' will cry and complain that it's 'fine' until CCP's nuts retract into their body and they get too scared to do anything about it.

tbh these people are the saddest of the saddest and have nothing better to do, most likely basement dweller losers with no friends.

Drop a titan bridge on the carrier and get something to bump it, 100mn cynabal works

There are certainly Titan pilots that would do it, saw a kill just the other day where someone dropped a titan on a single badger mkII with nothing in the cargo hold. The trick is finding a titan pilot willing to trust you.

Also, what about using a mach to bumb him out of carrier dock range and then trying to out damage the reps before he can dock in station?

Forgot about storing in the carrier... Perhaps try bumping it ? If you can't bump it, you will need to switch your plan to killing the carrier first rather than the faction BS. If he's stupid, he will launch fighters. Shoot them and they will probably auto-aggress back.

The only thing you could try is a cyno bump. Other than that, this sort of elite PVP is completely risk free.

A corp mate in a throwaway, 'low threat' cruiser, eg a thorax with an overheated 100MN MWD can bump orcas a few KM. If you warp in at 50 while he's aggro'd something else (bait) and burn at him you should be able to smack a low mass BS like a mach a long way out of redocking range.

Then you need to web scram and kill it Blink

issue is if the pilot knows what he is doing he will never loose his ship. no risk pvp and ccp should fix.

then grab it with 4 or 5 cheap frigs with webs+ scrams.


if the mach is carebear fitted, theres a good chance he will freak out and try to move the carrier to pickup. in case that happens have a dread or two ready to drop to get the carrier too.

Anyone with half a brain will position their ships in unbumpable positions well within docking radius. Also, if you want to use a bump ship, nothing beats the 100mn MWD SFI. vOv

This.

The carrier will usually be wedged behind an overhang or under the lip of the undock, making bumping virtually impossible.

Let the Mach aggress, open a cyno, and the carrier will dock immediately ;-) Be sure to bring enough damage to take the Mach out, before the carrier realizes you don't have a backup-capfleet.
