Client .dmg corrupt?

I think the Mac client .dmg currently available for download is corrupt. I've downloaded it three times now and each time it has failed to mount. It fails when being verified via Disk Utility. Skipping the verification allows it to mount, but then it fails to copy files to disk when dragged and dropped.

Is there an alternate download location or an older version available to download?

I have just downloaded the new .dmg on a rMBP and I can't even install the game. I've tried 3 individual downloads and each time I copy the game into applications, it takes forever!

When I try and run the game, the icon bounces in the dock but doesn't start anything at all.

The .dmg way of distribution is not really optimal. Even Leage of Legends informal Client has a launcher that installs the game in small parts.

same problem here download ,drag to application folder,which btw take's forever then i get to watch the icon bounce away in the dock thank's ccpShocked btw this problem is on my mbp laptop.everything is fine on my imac so far,come on ccp let's get it together or tbh i would not have a problem cancelling my subscription's

I am having the same issues on 2 MBP's

I've downloaded the client like 4 times.

2 times on my MBP (corrupt) downloaded the mac client on my windows side of my MBP. Still corrupt.

Even tried some crazy thing i found to download the client through the terminal. Still corrupt.

I can't find anything anywhere about this.

It runs fine on my windows side. So i know its not the computer.

I am also having this issue, it is very annoying. 6gb over and over again.

Figured out a solution.

Get the steam client

then search for eve and click "download pc demo"

it downloads and old version, but it updates to play just fine. hope this helps anyone.

It's a quick and dirty solution, but for those of you getting a corrupt download, you can also try the following torrent. It's been setup to use the CCP CDN as a webseed, which means it will download from CCP's servers and then hash the file out and re-download any pieces that have been corrupted. It's essentially a poor man's self-fixing download.
