1. Left a station without accepting the mission.
2. Left a station without taking the cargo.
3. Made six hops without the cargo.
4. Been stuck on a structure at the worse possible moment. (very annoying)
5. Got startled by the warning message that says another player is about to get shot at by the popo.
6. Left my drones. (I felt so bad for the little guys)
9. Attempted role-playing and failed miserably.
10. Took EVE Online too seriously and got trolled in the process.
11. Got ganked and made the mistake of saying something in local.
12. Undocked and came back a few minutes later to find myself hundreds of kilometers from the station.
13. Bought implants without realizing that you can lose them just like ships.

So those be my "lessons" so far, and I'm less than a week in weeeeeee. Shocked

Now I am picturing some char with a long bearded avatar flying around webbing and scramming every noob, and forcing them to listen to a story from the "good old days", upon threat of ship destruction.

"Sonny, when I was your age we didn't have things like like rigs!"

I need a the ability to double like.

Setting what is perhaps the most ingenious PI production chain ever concieved. Drop all the structures and setup all the links, everything is set to go. Except for the fact that mistyped micro organism instead of complex organism on my design document, and now my perfect plan will not work. My previous system is much more efficient than any combination available to my new production chain.

....crumbles paper...

I like big guns. I can not lie. You other suckas can't deny. When I warp in, with an itty bity sig, with an arty in your face, you get sprung. You want to pull out your debuffs, 'cause you want to loot my stuff...deep, in a worm with nary, an escape but you can't stop staring. 'Cause, Oh crap!, Baby's got Point!

Undocked without mission.
Undocked with mission but without cargo.
Undocked without guns.
Undocked in a Hurricane fitted for mining when going ratting.
Undocked with guns but without ammo.
Undocked without spaceship.
Undocked in a rookie ship while aggressed to a nearby well-fitted combat ship
Undocked into a swarm of WTs (woops)
Undocked without entire fit.
Undocked with wrong ship.

Also, I have indeed left my drones...

I have also stasis webbed a rock for ten minutes (I was security on a mining op, I had a roid targeted for mining drones, rats arrived, I forgot to switch targets), thought a faction police "oi no people we don't like" message was directed at me and panicked, lost a Harbinger to NPCs roughly a minute after finishing the fit, and put a remote repair rig on a ship by mistake (I thought it was a local repair rig).

EDIT: Undock in super-fast-fit frigate > go check something in a different window > come back a couple minutes later needing to dock up again > 90km haul back to the station

CNN Breaking News.

Today a man was found beaten to death in his computer room. Police investigation has so far turned up no suspects in the brutal slaying and no sign of forced entry.

Statements from friends hours before the fatal assault said that he was "Going home to read the first few pages of F and I." We have yet to ascertain what exactly that means.

Sat on a c2 wormhole in high sec with a Corp mate in the c2 in a talos, when a drake and some of his friends land next to me and tell me their hole is dangerous because of the talos. I offer to help kill the guy, and they say they'll engage when they have enough people to engage. They invite me to fleet and their Intel channel and tell me that they have eyes on the talos. After 2 hours, they have 14 people and still refuse to jump in after a lone ship. I say that I'll engage it in my raven, jump in, orbit the hole with my friend watching from the talos, feign losing shields, and jump back out. The rest jump in and promptly warp back to their pos in system. We brought reserve pilots in, trying to engage, but they were too scared by the 5 pilots we had. Got banned from their Intel channel and promptly flew back home.

It w as another casual day when I started a quick chat in the station hangar with an old pal and he tells me a dear friend has had his daughter kidnapped.

After a few minutes of discussions not only it was clear that we would not have any ransom call or anything, as the group in question were responsible for some of the major slaves and prostitution schemes in the region. We code named the operation: The Damsel in Distress.

Some more digging and we find the exact location where they have taken her, and I start hurried procedures to launch after those bastards and put an end to their criminal activities.

Off I go and boy, what an epic battle. Sneaky backup calls, the crew hurrying to adjust the turrets for perfect hits while they bombarded my ship mercilessly to the point of almost breaking our shields.

After the reinforcements we brought down the defenses of the Pleasure Gardens, nasty place. And then, all of a sudden comes Zor, head of the scumbags responsible for the kidnapping. I call coms, "Overload, fire at Zor with everything we've got!"

I guess the imbecile was not counting with the new set of Conflagration crystals we had acquired as payment a few days before. Ha! We start melting him down like butter on a pan. Can't say he didn't left a scratch, some shrapnel from his missiles got through our low shields, but it doesn't matter, we killed him.

With their leader down, the rest of the rats didn't pose much of a threat. After the last shinny explosion we could hear the cheers through the entire ship, what a fantastic moment!

Back at the station, I hurry into my friend's office to tell him about the great news! He promptly asks me:

- "Did you find her? Did you save her? Where is she?"

At that moment, I felt my head expanding with its own stupidity, like a big fat useless balloon. But I was fast to save it:

- "She is erm... taking a shower, yes! She will be ready in another 30 minutes."

- "Oh, that is great, I can't wait to see her!"

- "Sure, meanwhile, mind if I borrow your shuttle for a quick trip?"

Got GCC on a fellow in a belt. Couldn't kill him but got out. While we are laughing over it in local I forgot about my GCC and warped to the gate. Get ship popped. Warp my pod to station and wait out GCC kinda agrovated by that. GCC ends, grab new ship, warp back to gate to get my stuff, loose new ship to forgeting about gate argo timmer. Shut down Eve for the night and drank beer, there was only so much shame and failure I could take.

I saw a contract in Jita saying "buying herpderp compound 1.8bil" As I was in Jita I knew that it was a scam, however I thought it was the one where they have the buy order on the contract and a ridiculously priced sell order on the markets for scrubs to buy and then be unable to sell. Too bad for him I had that compound in my hanger, so I quickly opened the contract and clicked accept, buying his compound for 1.8bil... wait.
