Bleh. Ok. That happens.

I'll keep working on it. I can't reproduce it so that's a big part of the problem. I think I know what it's related too but have to do trail and error here.

First I thought it was a database problem. So I copied the .db file from home.

Well, my AV's flagg's it as "harmfull". i'm not the one you ask on ths matter, but what would be in that download that ticks my computer of?
On the other hand, being a noob on a computer makes it more fun for me just staring at the flashing alert's ;)

Thanks. I'm not sure what it is. It might be angry that I set a file to allow the updater to run without triggering the user access control every time. That's the only thing I can think of. I'll poke around.

  • Fixed error that would crash the program when some users from opening the Blueprint Management window.
  • Updated the way hauler settings are saved to be more user friendly on the Mining Tab.
  • The Mining Laser range should now update correctly on the Mining Tab.
  • When selecting 'Other' as a ship type in the Mining Tab, you will now see all ships available based on the skills selected.
  • Pending should now display correctly in the Industry Jobs window.
  • Sorting settings should now be saved correctly for Industry Jobs.
  • Mining Ship images and Mining Foreman Link images were not being installed with the msi installer. This has been fixed.
  • The msi installer will now correctly install the program in the folder selected by the user during setup.
  • Fixed an error with saving settings and the Build Time Multiplier that would crash the program. If you still get this error, try clearing your BP settings and saving them again.

Too many buys in this new version release. Not able to use Blueprints window and got error when select any items.

Reset your bp tab settings from the menu and try again. That should correct this error.

Ok the Conversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid. error is coming up because the Build Time Modifier isn't getting set correctly. This is set in program settings but is used on both the BP and Manufacturing tabs. Go into your install folder and delete/rename the settings files/folder there to see if it corrects this. This is something that comes up frequently that I'm trying to fix but apparently haven't figured out a way to do it. Also, make sure you have the latest update.

On the other error, where are you searching for a BP? I tried in the search bar of the BP tab and the BP management section and I can't reproduce the issue.

If you can send screenshots of the errors, that would be incredibly useful.

Deleting the settings folder seems to have cured both problems that caused crashes, thanks.

I was searching for blueprints in the Blueprints tab using the drop down menu.
Both the manual typing in of a name, e.g. "medium anti-em" then selecting one of the resulting names using the up/down arrows to move through the results and also opening up the pull down menu using the mouse and clicking on a name resulted in crashes. The manual (i.e. typing in the name) search then selection gave the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error and the mouse selection from the drop down menu gave the "Conversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid." one.
However, as I said, deleting the setting folder seems to have cured the issues.

Any idea why since today, when I try to import prices,from the update prices tab, I get an error reporting the the eve-central server is unavailable?

I would like the "add to shopping list" to also add needed decryptors, meta items and datacores.
I know it depends on how lucky you are with the invention but a estimate would be really useful.

Getting "EVE Central Server is Unavailable" as well when trying to import prices. It only happens when trying to import many different items at once, perhaps EVE Central changed the max number of item types allowed per request?

Thanx Zif. Just a remark here.I have noticed some recent changes in the eve-central page lay out. Maybe there were more than just appearance changes on their server after all...

EVE Central Update - It seems some items are causing the data to come back with an error message, which throws the error in IPH, but a lot of other items are not. If you want to just update minerals or other raw materials, it should work fine if only those items are selected. It looks like Rogue Drone components, some ships, modules, drones, and structures have the issue. All the rest of the items worked fine for me. I've emailed a more specific description to the operator of EVE Central so I'll update if I know more.

Troubleshooting tried:
Tried reset tab but didn't work
Removed and reinstalled "Eve ISK PH 2.2" but unable to open the program and got another error (unable to capture screenshot)

trying to get back to 2.1 version

I had backup of the crashed program install folder and tried the above solution you recommended and it worked.

So I narrowed down the problem by checking the xml file which crashing and found the wrong settings which causing all these issues.

All these issues occured due to the "Build Slot Modifier" value in "ApplicationSettings.xml" file which you have changed in 2.2

Solution:
Value "1" is wrong and when we changed to "1.00", the issue get resolved. ("1" to "1.00")
