So a buddy of mine has come back after a few months of inactive status and had a bunch of asssets in a 0.0 station system and it was taken over by some other group who are unfriendly :) so he petitioned CCP to have his stuff moved deeper into a 0.0 NPC station system, I have heard friends say that CCP have moved assets b4 for ppl. Was hoping other players would help me resolve this issue by adding to this post if they have had assets moved in such situations.

Thanks

Should not have left belongings in a place he knew this could happen. Also, I am fairly certain we are not allowed to discuss petitions here.

No thanks, I already liquidated my assets before moving out of null.

He needs to liquidate it or try setting up courier contracts. It's his own fault for leaving stuff in a null station, it should be common knowledge that stuff in 0.0 stations are not safe at all times, things change. When I was CEO of a null corp thats the one thing I had to beat into people's head who hoarded **** in 0.0. If you live in null keep only what you need and are willing to part ways with, otherwise move it to a NPC 0.0 station or empire.

I would also recommend taking the GM comment out. Otherwise your thread will be locked for discussing moderation.

Thanks man, im glad some people have a more mature helpful response, I altered the post as you noted, and its no issue selling it all, I just have heard from other players that ccp has moved thier stuff for them.

Unfortunately, Dennis, by posting this in GD, your likely going to get a ton of shiptoasters laughing at your "friend" and smacktalking along with a few people advising your friend to fire sale his stuff (which IMO is legit advice.)

Actually I believe it's standard policy for GMs to move you and one ship full of stuff out of a hostile capturable station into highsec.
