Build 2.2.409.29387

  • Fixed an error with SVR updates that would cause Manufacturing Calculations to crash the program.
  • Selecting the 'Mining Foreman Link - Mining Laser Field Enhancement' in the Mining Tab will now correctly update the laser range when checked.

Do you mean the num lines or bps? If so, I've fixed that and I'll put it up later.

For the corp jobs, are you sure you have the correct key installed? Also, check your assets and industry jobs are selected. The only jobs that will show up are for your character selected, not all corp jobs. It looks like I'm showing corp if you have any corp key installed, but I'm not checking for the correct access right now. I'll fix this next patch too.

Selecting a BP on the Manufacturing Tab? Can you be more specific? I'm not getting any errors on either tab. Send a screenshot if you can. Thanks

Hey, is there some kind of documentation for this? I'm having trouble figuring out what everything means and the results aren't matching up to my own calculations...

Then, how do I include time that takes to make copies and invent?

No documentation yet. I might do some tutorials for Youtube some day though.

Assuming you are on the Blueprints Tab. Raw isk per hour is the IPH if you build from the materials listed in the raw mats list below. The bottom number on the screen is the total cost of the mats in the list. The above one is the cost of the invention (if applicable), taxes, broker fees, and additional costs from the box on screen. So the IPH is how much isk you would make per hour by making this item. If you want to calculate T2 BPCs from contracts, just check ignore invention and then add the cost for the bp in the Addl. Costs Box.

If you want to include copy times, check the box on copies tab or set it in settings. Same with invention times. You can set your POS lab setup from settings or the button on the manufacturing tab to include the cost of making copies, etc.

Hope that helps.

Hi, thank you for answering my question. I'm still a bit confused though. I've illustrated my confusion in the two screenshots below.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v376/guitar_xe/IPH1.png
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v376/guitar_xe/IPH2.png

Also, I think there might be a mistake in the way the program calculates End Runs on the T2 BPC. For example if you chose some module like an afterburner II, and set the copies to 275, then the program will still show End Run of 10, even though if you calculate it you should be getting 9.16666* (in other words 9) runs.

Using this formula=
Runs = max( 1; Round.Down( ( ( ActualRunsInputBPC / MaxRunsInputBPC ) * MaxRunsOutputBPC ) + DecryptorBonusRuns))

You can see that it rounds down. I think your program might be rounding up.

Also thank you so so so much for making this program publicly available to all. I was having such a headache sitting here with a calculator and spreadsheets manually doing everything, and then found this I was like \o/ woooo! \o/

On your screenshots, the component iph is using the time of blueprint 'BP Production Time'. For raw iph, it's using 'Total Item Production Time'. The total time is if you buy all the raw materials and build each component (I.e The RAM in your screenshot). Check the Ignore RAMs and recalculate and the numbers should be the same.

On the formula, I'll take a look at it. I don't think that equation has been updated since a small change a few patches ago. But it has changed. I'll check the results on sisi though.

Btw, what version of windows are you running this on? The form looks horrible Cry

Oooooh I get it now. My confusion was due to a fundamental flaw in my logic. I was thinking the numbers didn't make sense since obviously building from raw mats should give a better profit, but for IPH I didn't consider the time it would take to actually build the components. Now it makes sense, thank you :)

As for the Windows I use Win7, but I changed the theme and all the looks to be like good ol' crappy XP. Not sure why you think it looks horrible, I like it Big smile

OK Thanks. Someone else had this same issue and his language was something other than English. Yours as well. I'm almost sure it has to do with the new grid object but not sure why it's throwing this error on this form only but it seems to be happening with other than English languages. I'll keep working with it and see what I can come up with but it's difficult to track down. Can you check in your install folder for a log file and copy and paste what is in there for me? That might give me some more clues on where to look.

Thanks

Is this supposed to save the data I give it? I gave it prices for the blueprint I was working on at the time, hit the 'Save Settings' button and closed the program. On restart, it has no memory that I had put those prices in. No errors. I've installed it in a different location than it wa

Save settings only saves check boxes and other selections on the screen, not data. I'm not sure where you are doing the updates. Do you mean in the grid? It should save those values. Can you give me a screenshot or more details? Thanks

The name of the file should be "EVEIPH.log" I just looked and apparently I didn't have it set to output a log file. I have it in the updater but not the main program I guess.

Anyway, I just put up a new version with a change on that form to see if it corrects the problem. Let me know if it still errors. I also fixed the log file output, so it should also print out during the error. Without a log file I'll just be guessing at this point though. Also, if you can post a screenshot of when the error occurs, that might help me pin it down too.

Having the same thing (crashing on opening the manage blueprints), but intermittently, install language is English.
Will grab the new version and see if it happens again.

Otherwise, awesome app.

I had initially entered in the price data manually, and those did not show up after I had restarted the program. But its now saving them and I can't reproduce it. Must've been a hiccup. Its working like it should now.

Those once only bugs are annoying I know.

I confirm that the bug still occurs.
I can easily reproduce it :
1. Launch the soft
2. Edit menu
3. Manage Blueprints
4. Error

OK

Can you post what's in the log file if there is one? I added it to the error processing in the last update.
