Reprocessing ISK value, spreadsheet.

Hello every body, I am a full-time merchant, but at one point I was a level 4 and 5 mission runner, but I stopped running missions in favor of playing the market for income.

My dellema is:

I have about 10 very large heaping piles of loot drops all over the galaxy and I would like to sell, or reprocess the goods and getting every single ISK out of the loot is a small personally important goal I have set.

What I would like to do:
Collect all of the goods into a freighter and transport them to Jita, reprocess some of the goods, keep some of the goods for personal use and hopefully fill sell orders with most of the goods.

What I would really find perfect:
A spreadsheet, that would inform me of exact reprocessing value per item where I can easily modify daily mineral value's to get the most accurate result.

Sounds like me a couple years back. Now life is simpler, you can sort by meta level.

Back when I went through that, I used Excel. By taking my time, I found lots of oppertunities to place buy orders or buy up things off the market that others over looked. I made more ISK by taking my time. As a trader, you will have time to poke numbers and play with spread sheets. Might as well get used to it. :)

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  - William Pitt

Kara Books—

I am not seeing a dilemma here. A dilemma is a decision between two choices made difficult by the fact that both options are relatively equal in terms of benefit or cost. This seems to be simply a matter of you knowing what you need to do but lacking the effort or will to do it.

then clearly that is the dilemma, he wants to serve his own personal goal but he can't be arsed to do it, that seems like two choices right there: either to get off his arse to find the answers on his own or stay comfortable on his arse and not waste time and effort for his potentially pointless convictions.

The fact of the matter is, I do not know how to create my own spreadsheets, as in, I dont know how to make them look good and properly formulate the boxes at the same time.

I am looking for some one to point me in the right direction, as google, nor the forums have yet to yield any results or resources that would point me in the right direction.

Your contribution to this topic is appreciated.

Ahhhhh, now that is another story all together.

I was going to point you to http://wiki.eve-id.net/Equations where the formulae are shown. However just thinking about that site. Perhaps you don't need a spread sheet..... perhaps all you need is one of the asset managing tools out there.....Have a look in the "EVE Technology Lab" forum area for one.

In fact, your question would be better answered in that area.

You could use a tool like jEveAssets.
It will show you buy and sell prices, but also reprocessed minerals value.
You can make a filter that shows you all items in a certain station that are worth more when reprocessed.

I don't know how accurate jEveAssets is (it does update marketprices automatically tho), and if it accounts for skills etc, but it WILL give you a ready to use list wat to refine and what to sell.

If you want to gather everything together, and it's all in high-sec, take a look at Red Frog Freight. It'll cost you, but unless you have a freighter of your own, and the op cost is low enough, it makes gathering cheaper.

+1 for EveRefinery.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

why use them when public courier contracts are much faster and cheaper, and you are able to ask enough collateral

Will any of these 3rd party programs show if items for sale in a perticular station drop beneath reprocess value?
