ROFL, CCP give a **** about someone quitting? :) I would recommend reading Hilmar's comments on what he thinks of pilots before the bean counters told him that was stupid and he should apologize for running his mouth at the people who pay his salary.

I know someone, not me, who has had a very valid petition open for 20 days now Roll haven't seen him log on much lately since they raked his account of 22B isk without even discussing with him. I imagine that he probably quit the game. I would too. I wouldn't pay a monthly sub to be 22B in debt and an open 20day petition.

To be fair, I don't think CCP want him to pay a monthly sub to be 22B in debt and an open 20 day petition and be a botter.

Back on topic though, OP seems to have found the right place for complaints: litter on the General Discussion forums.

Right it was your "friend" and yeah if i got exposed and penalized as a botter I wouldn't use that account any longer either.

You should explain to your "friend" that the quick and easy answer would be for CCP to say "sorry, bye". The fact that it is taking quite a while means that they are taking the time to do a complete investigation to be absolutely sure... which means that if your "friend" has done nothing wrong he'll get reimbursed.

Sometimes, in the case of a character being sold at about the same time as the ban, an innocent new or old owner of a character can be penalized inadvertantly and it takes a while to sort that out. This is not a case of a "false positive", the infraction did in fact occur, but a question of determining ownership at the exact time of the infraction... and if there is a connection between the past and present owner.

CCP: you have any care for players? If you do not validate petitions, then there is no way any GM gonna care about what they do with players.

Not everyone speaks English as a first language, at least the OP is making an effort unlike some of the people here that do speak English as a first language and still manage to murder the language when they post.

@ OP petitions can take some time to process, generally the logs show nothing but occasionally you get lucky.

The first post in this sticky will give you an idea of the number of petitions CCP have to deal with, it's numbers from June but are probably fairly representative.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I don't want to report poor response times, well I would love to complain about this, but lets say I understand that they don't want to hire more staff to handle petitions.

My petition was handled by someone who was in a huge rush. Looks like he did not have enough time to read my responses. For me it looks like he read one sentence and reponded to it (and ignored the rest). Generally I must say I didn't open that many petitions. But each time I opened one support was like this: We have good explonation for "WE WILL NOT HELP YOU". This time GM went too far, because explonation was not good :) I don't want to have support like this.

I must say life is different without eve now :) And YES I'm not an native speaker, nor using google to translate for me.

Compared with most games customer support ccp seem pretty good to be honest. Then i have only had to file 6 petitions in 9 years, which is probably the rate most normal players who aren't forum hypochondriacs have issues.

Talking about Amazon, I was very surprised to see them selling in their marketplace second hand versions of eve online. An online game is something you can sell only brand new... you cannot sell an already used version of Eve Online...

Hi there,

If you feel your petition was not handled correctly then you should ask to have it escalated to a Senior GM for review.
